Anyone Else finding the site dragging today?

Running the latest Firefox with all updates, the site today has been very very laggy.
Its taking for ever to load a page and even then sometimes I am getting only part of the page or the 404 or the 408 it seems to be one or the other.

Anyone else or just me?

Mine is fine, but what I thought you meant when I saw the header was that the quality of the threads and posts were blah today. (now lol).

I'm running Chrome at the moment and when I go to any of the "New", "Recent" or "Off-Topic" pages, all I see are dots. The Icons have disappeared. And yes, ATS seems to be sluggish as well.

Is there a virus that maybe we (or any of the AV companies out there) don't know about? My buddy was complaining earlier today to me that his brand new laptop is slower than his old one when it comes to the internet.

ETA: The icons on the bottom of the reply page keep changing colors as well. I have ran three different AV programs today and my confuser is still wonky.

I haven't had any issues but my dad works for FEMA lol

Could be or its a global thing I keep my Kaspersky up to date all the time.
Just checked and no updates......

I don't know but it is only ATS that is dragging its butt, every other site works fine and videos too.

got it and it sent right away.......thanks but still the 408's are forcing me to reload half the time here.

I have no idea, but other sites and video's are working perfect.

I should mention that we are on Broadband so speed has never been an issue for us, it seems to be the connection that is out of whack.

I had issues from work but not from home, but you know Government servers are always 1/2 as fast as normal ones, just like the Government itself..

Cleared everything, checked for updates on all things related, browser and AV etc I am still getting slow motion with 408's almost half the time.

The last firefox update was about 5 days ago and ATS worked fine right up till tonight .....

I am at a loss for the cause but thanks to all who posted here and the mods who stepped in to help.

I was just on Greenwald's site a few minutes ago and the screen display was lagging about half a second behind my key punching. I haven't had that happen for a long, long time, but spooks will be spooky. Rightfully better to blame them than some obscure kink in the hose somewhere, right?
