Just meandering back in from exercise.

It's still flipping snowing!

On the bright side, this Sunday is Easter and it rarely snows after that.

I used to write down how much money I saved by quitting on a daily basis. It helps. And while I was a miserable prick to be around for a while, I mellowed out a tad after a while.

I don't know, but I assumed that politics were verboten at the Shed? I leave that crap in the forest (the other forums), where it belongs.

Gordi, I'll be OK to clime, I can't promise not to mutter obscenities under my breath though about the lack of stairlifts.

Is it high? LOL, I'm gonna be going up the mountain here now with a heavy rucksack practicing. OK, maybe just a handbag.

I will definitely be OK with sealevel and forests, I'm used to the flat. Not twenty KMs though, I think the most I have ever done is about eight. Fours miles either side of a twelve hour shift. I gave up smoking for about four months and I couldn't believe the difference.

It's been on my mind for a while to stop again, not just because of all the hills but it's a lot of things really. I'm kind of in two minds, excited and scared to do it if you know what I mean. I have definitely been giving it serious thought.

It's 127 Metres high actually! (About 420 feet?)
I know that Sounds a lot, BUT - it is a very gentle walk and it's ALL by ROAD! (NO actual climbing required!)

The "Inner Circle" road, performs a wee loop up to the "Top of the Island" and back down again. I would guess that it's only about 3 miles in total? It's well worth the wee walk up for the views alone - (you can alternatively just go straight up the hill and back down again. That's maybe only two or two and a half miles but it's quite a bit steeper than doing the full loop of the "inner Circle").
Maybe we could take a picnic? Treat ourselves to a glass of wine and some snacks up there?? LOL

No Worries at all if the troops don't fancy it! There are LOADS of other things to do and see!! You can do as much or a little as you like!
(I just want you all to enjoy your weekend!!)

That sounds like a good idea about the saving Dawg, I could get the patches from my Doctor and I already have a vape. I could call it the wardrobe funds.

If I can't get patches from my Doctor It would be more costly than smoking haha, I quit pre-maids a long time ago.

Don't feel bad sis....I don't exercise regularly...(translation: not for YEARS).

I did lay down on my yoga mat one night...to do some crunches.
Woke up about 20 minutes later, with drool on my chin....so I figured, my work here is done...and lit a smoke!

That given enough time, ...a year say?... that most of us should be able to get together an air fare to... wherever?

Maybe we should think about saving towards making next years gathering a BIGGEE?
Where have you all wanted to visit? But never got round to it?

I could never see you in a Dunce Hat! So don't go putting one on.

I tried the patches, but they ended up making me itch all over. I literally scratched myself bloody at night in my sleep. I've known a few people that did quit going the Vape route though.

I just did it the old school way. Cold Turkey. It wasn't fun.
