Stuff happens out here too quickly. My folks live generally north of Antar by a good bit and way out in the country. They used to see military flights on a regular basis..and "Flight" is a constructive use of the term. When you see a Galaxy cargo plane coming over wooded land with JUST enough clearance to avoid topping trees and telephone polls? Well... Flying or hovering along in ground effect? lol....

No time to shoot pics when it starts, happens and ends in seconds to a moment or two... Isn't that always the way? We could be holding Cannon 60D's, all lined up..and nothing will happen. THE MOMENT everyone goes for a bio-break? A full marching band of aliens will go by with craft in high escort ...and all gone by the time everyone with a camera gets back to ask what they missed.

I understand and agree, but if there was a halo around the sun for a couple of minutes, that's plenty of time.

2 minutes and no picture....hmmmmm.

Any other members in the area see anything? It always amazes me that nobody has pics yet everyone has a camera in their pocket on their cell phone.

I googled UFO sighting Springfield MO .... a few popped up. Not this one .. but others.
Seems that there has been some activity there in the past as well.

Well, I know of several members who live within an hour of where we're all talking about here. If there is something up and funny here....there will be people close by to chime in.

Personally, I know Antar from near my start here at ATS. I respect her and short of meeting in real life, I trust her as much as I trust anyone here. I have no doubt she saw exactly what she says she saw. Now..what that actually WAS? I'm sure we'd all agree, there is a lot of debate room left to be had.

The thing is, I am a sympathizer to off world beings, not that in such a spin as that was, they had much of a chance of hearing my invitation for a place to hide if they were being pursued. I did get a sharp pain on my right temple as I made the message which in retrospect let me know message was received.

I do not know if the 2 events were related or not, I cant wait for the reports to come in.

I have more to say on this but will withhold for now. we have been seeing a craft in this area for the past few days, I heard Peter Davenport talk about one that is described the same over the weekend in Ga. This was on C2C. The kids caught it on video cell phone, so small it does not relate well. Lots of cussing on the video so I just kept it to myself and was happy for the kids to have seen it so close.

Anything on news reports yet,if something happened of this magnitude wouldn't the news be all on it

I feared something struck the sun, or worse some kind of CMEwhich blew out a portion of the sun, I dont know!!!

That event wouldn't be limited to just MO.
Since my office has a window and the sun has been acting normally all day, I'd go ahead and rule both of these out.

I was wondering if you guys could have caught any of this? Surly kids on campus would have seen the halo? This is going to come out, I am just reporting first. And my face did get burnt.
