Today the man who remarkably predicted months ahead of time that the Fed would taper in December, and then again in January, warned King World News that people need to brace themselves for a disastrous global collapse and riots that will engulf the entire world. He also discussed exactly what will trigger and then accelerate this tragic collapse and ensuing chaos. Below is what Gerald Celente, founder of Trends Research and the man many consider to be the top trends forecaster in the world, had to say in this remarkable interview.

Eric King: “Gerald, so far this has proceeded exactly as you predicted, with the first taper in December and the second taper here in January. How bad will this get for the emerging markets?”

Celente: “This selloff in the emerging markets, with their currencies going down and their interest rates going up, it’s going to be disastrous and there are going to be riots everywhere....

Sourc e Kingworldnews

Well the man has made some accurate predictions.

Yah! More Doom Porn!

Facepalm.

Well I guess we had better get ready for this one.

Can't say I'm shocked, nor will I be if this actually comes to pass.

We've all been playing with house money for a long time, and eventually, it's going to be time to pay up.

Wont be surprised if this comes to pass.

By the way has anyone read the PDF file titled silent weapons. It practically outlines what the social engineers are/have been doing for the past 60-70 years.

This couldn't possibly happen in America right... ? Arrghh!!@#

Sorry OP, just had to. This is probably related to warning from Matt Drudge, "Have an exit plan."

All the signs are there. People really need to pay attention.

Celente is right on the money. His timing is sometimes a tad off, but his trends forecasting is very good.

I've been preparing....not in the way that some people are, but I did bail out of the city into a very rural area, I have been storing food, water and other essentials, and I'm just waiting.

What I fear is, they'll drag us into a hellacious war in order to cover up their domestic crimes. Yes, things are melting down all over the world, and it has yet to hit the majority of Americans that the party's over, but that may be the least of our problems.

A brief perusal of message boards like infowars and Yahoo tells me all I need to know about the psyche of the American public right now. People are getting very angry and very worn out with lies and nonsense from DC and Wall Street. They are angry...trouble is, they're angry at the wrong people. Exactly as planned.

He's been saying nonsense for years now. Guy seemed to have a decent record until 2008. Then he kept saying that in a few months everything would go off the rails. He wasn't wrong once, twice, or even half a dozen times... over, and over again.

I think the controllers have proven to be more influential and with the ability to duct tape key parts together better than most people realize.

I'm not saying it won't eventually collapse, it must, but when? He doesn't have a clue, he's just pushing what people want to hear at this point. Yes, a chunk of the population want to hear this for whatever reason.

Some people figure if enough people die, when the rioting ends, they will be in pole position to rebuild and reap the profits. Religous zealots desire the rapture for their own gain and judgement brought to the damned, non christians. Either way, people want the collapse and apocalyse to follow so they can have front row seats to the new kingdom. But it aint gonna work out that way, for the meek will inheret the Earth, and clamoring for war, economic collapse, genocide, and rapture is not humble or meek...odd how they overlook that and deem themselves to have divine right. Who knows what will happen, but no one will be safe in the streets, and those lush, luxurios homes, bunkers, gated compounds will fall, eventually, and the horrors that are avenged will purge humanity in a most vile way. Or nothing will be avenged...no one knows exactly how it will go down, but in some fashion, to some degree, it will go down.

When Celente speaks...People should listen.

He's not about Doom Porn. He doesn't speak without having convictions and those convictions are from massive time and research.

He's been correct more times than not and this one isn't even surprising. Many others around the World are feeling the same. Look around at the rising tempers, wars, protests, police brutality, military movements in American streets...

It is coming and many are still laughing. The laughter won't last long.

Peace

I''m going to leave out any parts related to religious mumblings out, and just say how I see things.

Basically the monetary and financial systems are disconnected from the reality of goods and services. The monetary system is inherenty built on the notion of scarcity, which seems realistic, as resources are eventually depleted, but this actually plays out as the opposite when intertwined with finances and capital investments.

One example of this is investment for future oil discoveries. Speculation in the market sets the price of oil. So a real breaking point hits between supply and demand, causing speculation, which causes the price to go up. This causes capital to flow into investing R & D into tech to discover, and get at new sources of oil. Thing is, because of speculation, the price soars too high, demand drops, meaning price drops. Now that capital dries up. Investors don't think in terms of these exacerbated cycles due to speculation. They ditch the projects. Now the next cycle hits, but it's even worse. This has been going on for years, and it's due, at it's root, to a monetary system built on scarcity money = debt, which is just pure greed, and this value trickles down into society.

So there's a complete disconnect from the abstract systems and reality, and it inevitably leads to collapse. Now, there's been irrational "fixes" to the abstract systems to allow more capital in the form of bonds/monies to flow around. It's basically just shennanigans to keep the elite at their standards of living, and the poor from rioting. Well, reality is hitting that we're FUBAR, and the flow of resources is starting to run out. Hence, tapering.

So there's a bit of leeway from the system, because it's so damned complex, and you can keep tweaking variables within it. Doesn't mean it's sustainable. It means eventually you won't be able to hide the fact that the whole system is rigged, and essentially a collective psychotic dream we're all choosing to play along with. At some point, the actual earth is going to be unable to keep our way of life going as it is.

There's two kinds of collapses that can happen, and I think both will happen, one after the other. The first is a collapse of the abstract systems, relating to monetary, financial, and economic theories. That can be reworked, if there's still enough to go around and keep people civil. The second kind of collapse is tangible systems, like the environment, ecology, and habitat. If we can't provide basic resources for the majority of us, we're going to collapse civilization.

How close are we truly to either playing out, and how severe will this cycle be with the former? I have no clue. It depends how close the latter truly is. They can choose to collapse, and try to rebalance the equation before that's not possible. TPTB could theoretically migrate us to a more reasonable system without much pain, but will they? Do they believe that's thier or our best interests? I think part of the reason we haven't already transitioned, is because our leaders can't all get on the same page and decide where to go from here. That's not good. If we wait too long, there's no coming back, in my assessment.

That's what I see. Not much of a timeline, because there isn't one. Take it as you will.

This is so obvius that any of us in here could and propably have predicted that, it isen't a secret.

The problem is the people outside who stick their fingers in the ear and shout, lalalala!

The question is, will the government do anything to prevent it, or just let it happen?
As it looks know, it seems they just ignore it, and do the same thing as the oblivius people, sticking thier fingers in the ears and shout lalala! and hope for the best.

This could be prevented if people would just wake the "bLeeep" up., and start taking action before SHTF.

We just had a situation in Denmark, where the government are ready to sell 19% of the shares from the Danish owned company that is providing energy to our country to Goldman Sachs, with special deals in favor of the buyer.

Thats like selling the country to the worst company ever, even though it on first sight seems small.

A huge part of the people started shouting and demonstrating, but, it wasn't enough cause the biggest part of the people choose to say nothing.

The Danish pension funds came up with a deal that was better or equal, but it got ignored by the government.

It's completly rotten and is a "bullit in the magasin" for the future of Denmark, and the people are completly powerless cause most of them just sit and watch rediculess reality show without reality.

I see people daily in here who say they are prepared for this and have moved out in the woods, in my eye's they gave up and ran away, but, i'm not to judge them, cause i somehow understand, if SHTF, you will have a hard time in the woods cause thats where a majority of people will go, and you will meet more people in the woods than animals.

i agree with most of your post except for the part that there will be more people in the woods than animals as i suspect the animals will be eating the people and here in australia most will die from snake bites and the ants will eat them.....people like to believe they can survive in the wild but the reality is only a few will

Yeah, i might have went to far with that part, but my point was actually, that it wont be a walk in the park, nature is relentless, just as you say, and when you ad people in there to, it's going to be a battlefield.

But' i agree with you, just got cought up in a little anger.

You know what, i'm going to edit it out, to keep the topic more clean and that people who want to comment don't focus on that part.

You can leave it in your quote if you want

as a former avid fan of Gerald celente I think I must now agree with you.

I stumbled across him about 6 years ago now. I was blown away. I thought here is a bloke who knows the truth. I was sold hook line and sinker. I have listened to probably over 100 of his interviews over the years.

but....I would say that in the last about 12 months I have started to think the bloke is more actor and substance. if you listen to him enough he says the same thing over and over again. you can almost predict what is coming. there are key words and then he goes into this whole shrill voice spewing forth the SAME things in EVERY interview. Up goes his tone and voice level as he repeats and repeats his favourite phrases such as "presstitute" etc.

I think the reason I first started to question my belief in him was when he lost a very large sum of money in some bank/investment situation. I started to question how a man who I thought knew the ins and outs of a ducks ass could lose that much money.

I think this last paragraph of yours sums it up beautifully. I agree with what you say 100%.

until then, mr celente will make truck loads of money saying the exact same thing he has been saying for years now.

I just thank god that when I first listened to him I was so tempted to get my money out of the bank and buy up big in the supply of food stuffs and survival gear, that I waited.

Ya gotta admit though,

"When people have lost everything, and they have nothing left to lose, they lose it!"

Is a really good description of certain parts of Europe and certain cities in the U.S. right about now.

I subscribe a bit more to the James Howard Kunstler idea of 'The Long Emergency'; we've been on this train for several years now but it would appear that it's running out of track.

I think all the major powers have a gun to their head, a gun pointed at everyone else, and several skeletons in their closets. It's a matter of who blinks or breaks first.

It's still up 12% since this time last year. We've had a few blips like this over a months time in the last year. The question is if it will continue to fall... then it could actually be something. If it goes down 2%+ today, then we have to be on alert for next week. If it breaks even or is within 1% under, hopefully this is just the end of a little blip.
