I had one as a kid until my dad stepped on him and he died .
Great pets as long as you feed them correctly and like you said give them a bath every now and then.
Oh and the story in the OP...just lots of lol.

Aww...you have ferrets too? Mine don't stink either, and are also very intelligent, funny and completely adorable.

When I first saw the picture in the OP, I thought it was perhaps a hoax because the ferret's feet didn't look right, lol...but if you say it's true, then I believe you. Maybe I just didn't want it to be true because I hate the thought of someone doing that.
Anyways, thank you for standing up for a very misunderstood little animal. To truly know them...is to love them.
