ATS Facebook Page Censorship

So earlier you posted a link to the thread about the visualisation of mobile phone signals on your facebook page.






I posted a comment stating that the trigger for cancer is different in every person and radiation from mobile phones will only cause cancer in some people.

I checked back this evening to read any further comments posted and to see if anyone "liked" my post. However my comment has been removed and i believe I have now been blocked from liking and commenting on posts from ATS as i am now unable to do so. As seen in the picture above the only option available to me now is "share".

I'd like an explanation as to why I have been seemingly censored for a comment that was neither offensive nor abusive in nature.

Only the page admins can control who posts on their page so this isn't Facebook censoring me, its the ATS Facebook page admins. Facebook wouldn't bother doing anything anyway for such an innocuous non offensive comment.

I was just about to make this thread regarding a comment i posting on their facebook. It was about the supposed HOAX topic with that alien bug like slenderman that someone recorded in Russia. I said something to the tune of prove to me this is a hoax. And saying it has no shadows is totally false as it clearly does. I told everyone not to believe it to be a hoax because they are telling you so. I had 6 likes on that comment and within 24 hours it was gone. I did not think i had to screengrab it in fear of being censored. This site is a conspiracy all in it's own. IT DOES WHAT IT'S TOLD OR IT GET THE HOSE AGAIN!!!

ATS only allows ONE thread on a subject, unless it's one in BAN and one in another forum. As most people here know. If we were going to bury anything don't you think this would have been removed?

Well i can name about 4 topics that this site will right away delete and 404 instead of moving to skunk works or hoax bin. There is some censoring going on here and these guys will tell you it's a private forum and basically don't like it, leave. Which is fine and dandy. There is enough people here with the hive mentality to keep this place going. But that kinda b.s. remark will eventually make alot of people leave. We do not need this place, this place needs us. Haha, this is starting to remind me of our government. Wonder why that is? Hm... Conspiracy!!


This thread will most likely swept under the rug and you will get a blanket statement as to why. lol jon cotner is elvis. lol, that statement will be the nail in the coffin.

Don't you think that would look even more suspicious than it already does? The subject will receive less attention in board business than it would in skunk works, so yes this is subtle a form of burying a thread.

I use an ATS widget on my phone for new topics and the amount of double, triple even quadruple threads on the same subject/story that get posted and are allowed to stay up is a joke. Yet you are all over my double thread posting in minutes. I feel it was a completely legitimate reason for being in skunk works, but rules are rules. If only they were enforced evenly across the site

I have never moderated on this site (nor been asked to). I am a long standing member that has, over the years, changed the way I use ATS in significant ways.. I tell you that to tell you this:

People who do not "get" that ATS has to have some limits on the insanity that is allowed to happen here are likely not the folks that will benefit ATS in the long run, anyway. I hear whining about freedom of speech, as if this were a public place and not privately owned. But folks seem to forget that with freedom comes the responsibility of using it properly. Freedom is not a weapon by which one should act obnoxiously. This is why Pythagoras said, "When free men require laws, they are no longer fit for freedom". Thoreau mentioned that when men were ready, they would have a system by which there was no system.

Thus, it is the unfortunate truth that we share the internet with an unending supply of tomfoolery and poppycock. The drug talk...well we certainly don't want to attract the typical drug culture mindset. The same with the Hitler worship. We absolutely don't want that crowd around here. And as it applies to your sentiment that "ATS needs us"....no they don't. They don't need people who cannot follow the common theme of how the site is intended to work. It is an open forum for civil disourse on conspiracy topics. It isn't a place where we will create a mob to track down individuals standing nearby the Boston Bombing. Nor is it a place where we will debase our intelligence by posting racy and pornographic material.

The censorship is something I criticize quite openly. But I still have to recognize that there are limits to what ATS, as a business that I enjoy the free use of, should allow me to do.

I have NEVER had any comments removed by Facebook, or page admins in the 6 years of using it. I am trying to deny ignorance, but it seems someone does not want me to do so.

Im betting their keeping it clean for marketing purposes rather then something Nefarious.

Maybe it has to do with not offending people or challenging the host to create a flame war from happening on the page.

Id control that angle of ATS to comply with the rest of my marketing platform as well.

Its really simple its called marketing.

All you have to do is hit the alert button and source the duplicate threads to the mods and they are usually closed within a few minutes to a few hours depending who is online. (I know, I do it to my own threads when I double post by accident.)

Well you are because the thread will not garner the attention I feel it deserves being in board business. In hindsight I should of posted it originally in skunk works but I now realise i jumped the gun.
I have requested it be moved to skunk works.

How will I receive a response from the ATS staff responsible for the Facebook page?
