Humongous Tsunami Devours Building instantly - Never before seen footage

New?
What year is this? I thought we were in 2013.

Must be a usage of the word "new" that I was not previously familiar with.

And yes, I rather think I have seen it before. About 5 or 6 months ago I spend a whole afternoon going through tsunami videos, and I'm sure this was one of them.

It's one year old, so not exactly new, but still scary anyway.

Hope it will be a long time before we see this type of destruction again.

New or not, it all happened so fast! So scarey really to think in 7 minutes that much destruction could be caused by nature. Such a shame.

Jesus, the clip was "new" to the OP, they weren't referencing to the date it was published on YT. People need to stop probing pointless things and stay on topic...

To the OP, this clip is "NEW" to me too, so thank you for sharing. It really is scary seeing how quickly those waves completely destroyed that area. Talk about an unstoppable force...

This brings to mind an interview I saw with an old couple who lost their home and boat in the tsunami. And even though their land is now gone, they are still indebted to the bank for the mortgage. Their pain did not end with the tsunami. Just saying.

here is a lengthy video of the earth disasters of 2013....the massive amount of natural disasters put together in this video is staggering to me. at 2 and 50 minutes, I've had to watch it in pieces, but, it does bring into focus the amount of climate change going on.

Afraid to say it's not very new at all. I don't think I've seen this copy, probably a different camera/camera phone - but have seen several videos from this same location not long after the tsunami hit, definitely in 2011, one goes for much longer.

Still awful to watch regardless. So devastating.
