New Dis-Ease Found Off CA! Star Fish Are Dying NOW! Dis-Ease My .....

Heard it last night on the news! It seems a so called Disease is killing them at a alarming RATE! Nice to know it is a Disease and not the # flowing from Japan!

YEA RIGHT!

This IDEA of everything being a Disease it driving Me Crazy! How much more Sea Life has to Wash up on the West Coast DEAD due to this before we actually LOOK into it Ourselves?

I see it this way. Since so many have washed up, it has to be covered up quickly! We call it A Disease so the masses Think it is one! So come Crab Season, we can say the disease has affected them too so my story goes anyway.

Not to get your head out of your *** or anything, just you might want to think about this for your Family and your Life. All you have to do is Look at the Gulf Spill and how they say it is CLEANED UP!

How are They Looking Now? How is the Boat Life Going, actually still selling Food for you to eat knowing it is bad! People out there tell a different story so you can either read up on it or do like the rest and Take the cash!

Since I receive nothing from this, I only want the West Coast to consider moving before Spring! Its your life so do what it is you want! I am only asking you to at least look at it another way!

Then again it might be Nothing, played off as a Lie! Yet ask a Star Fish if you can; if their not all dead!

It just Pains me so People buy into this # and do Nothing about it!

Thanks for your time reading this. Had to get this out before someone actually gets sick and they call it Cancer!

What CAN we do about it?

The EPA raised the safety level of radiation in the aftermath of this disaster. Obama is closing down most of the coal fired electric plants, so that leaves us with what? Nuclear power plants.

The greed for money will destroy us all!

So you're ok with a few hundred tons of radioactive waste being pumped out of coal plants a year, before even adding in the fly ash pools?

There have been news reports for a month now about the star fish die off in the Seattle area...there limbs are literally rotting and falling off before they die.
There is no way to combat the damage that has been done to our planet.
Mass panic would surely ensue if the people had government conformation of what they already know in their hearts, IMO.

Shouldn't you instead be thinking 'Why are they downplaying the connection between the cancer and the nuclear radiation of Japan?".

Not really! But with all of the so called "scrubbers" they are supposed to have to clean it first (at least that is what they tell us) and the nuclear waste that is derived from nuclear energy (that is what they DON'T tell us), what is the trade off?

I would be all for green energy if it wasn't for the fact that it seems every time our government props up one of those companies that the company fails and the tax payers are on the hook for it! Not to mention the contamination and clean up costs................

Seems to me like there are not any answers! At least honest ones.......

Nuclear waste can be contained within concrete that will keep any radiation leaks from reaching the groundwater. Coal radiation is released into the air and surrounding environment as it's being burned. And when fly ash retaining walls fail, you have Tennessee all over again.

As for scrubbers, coal plants are cleaner, but of all the plants in the US, only something like 8% are truly clean.

Not trying to get in a pissin match here, but if scrubbers on coal plants can keep our air cleaner, then I sure as hell would rather have those plants that are not part of the 8% be upgraded versus continuing to bury nuclear waste in concrete vaults underground!

As most of us know, concrete does not last forever........what then?

I could care less about how long I live, but I do give a damn about what my generation is going to leave my daughter and my possible grand children to live with.

Basically, we are facing and ecological disaster no matter how you look at it!

It almost costs more to upgrade a coal plant than it does to build a new one. We aren't going to see any being upgraded in the near future.

How does one Cure Cancer? Radiation! Somehow I see a Flaw there! I said How I seen it on the News calling it a Disease! I would have used Radiation Posioning due to Japans lack of fixing the problem in the first place.

So let me get this right. We bury it underground? Well with all the sink holes happening, might as well fill them up too!

We want to go to Mars and travel Space; why don't we TRY to use it as Fuel? Placing it underground likely someday it WILL break open and again another mess.

Thats what I do not like about Science. Good for the short term, never planning ahead for later. How many holes will it take to bury it, and how long till their is no land to use anymore? Then what?

Seem like a Vacation is long over due! Any ideas on how to be a caring guy, go out and find the info myself? Know anybody who I can use a lab and get an Honest answere?

Should be simple right? All I need is some dying Starfish and a gag-er-counter and a Tester? Or should I wait and see what else dies? Who eats Starfish?

Oh, The Pain! Yet if it causes people to at least take a look at this; who wins? I still gain nothing but a death hole or come up missing!

I love how people instantly go to Fukushima and radiation without anyone even knowing the basics of what's causing this. Yes somehow it's only affecting the West Coast of the US. Not closer to Japan, not Hawaii, it's bypassed everywhere else, to go straight to California. Maybe you can explain that.

And as an adult, you're surrounded by some pretty high levels of radiation. In fact if you weren't, you couldn't survive. But get exposed to too much of the wrong type, and your cells become cancerous.

That makes no sense whatsoever. Hawaii should have seen anything first, and I know for certain that background levels out there are normal, and there is nothing happening in the ocean. Even with the little bit of debris from Fukushima that has washed ashore there.
