You know somehow they have managed to survive without bible drops for all this time what makes you think they needed them to qualify their existence?
So mere "survival" is good enough for them?
The entire point of the drops is to offer them something more than "survival." A belief in a god often gives people the strength to continue their wretched lives.
But if you think they're doing just fine, then I guess we shouldn't care about them at all.

Damn. That is the most asinine statement I have ever read.
Somehow you think because people don’t believe in your fairytales their life isn’t worth living.
Most of the Wonsan victims were charged with watching or illegally trafficking South Korean videos, involvement in prostitution, or possessing a Bible.
His group targets rural areas where they might be picked up discreetly, he said.
Foley and members of his Christian mission group, Seoul USA, use GPS technology to help direct where the Bibles land.
There is no clear reason for the executions. One government official noted they occurred in cities that are centers of economic development.
The victims seem to be guilty of crimes related to South Korea - like watching South Korean films - or accused of corruption of public morals, especially sexual misconduct.
On Sept. 21, Japan’s Asahi Shimbun reported that nine Unhasu Orchestra members were executed for filming themselves having sex and selling the films as pornography.
North Korean authorities launched a probe into the scandal, a South Korean government official familiar with North Korean affairs said, and they found that Ri was also involved in the case.
They executed all of the people involved in the scandal in order to quell any suspicions about her.
When the Unhasu members were questioned by officials, they reportedly said, “Ri Sol-ju also loved to play like us.”
The source said, “As the news that people were brutally killed in public executions spread in the countryside, the people have been spreading rumors that say that Kim Jong-un has started a terror campaign in response to the Ri Sol-ju’s pornography scandal.”
Did you or any of the people who disregard all logic, common sense, and facts when the opportunity to bash Christians or religion of any kind even read the articles?

nope just the Bible,,what is it that scares them so much?
Watching unsanctioned foreign films or TV -- especially those from the capitalist South -- is a serious offence in North Korea.
However, efforts to control their distribution have been circumvented by technology, with an increasing number being smuggled in on DVDs, flash drives and mp3 players.
As well as South Korean soap operas, US shows like Desperate Housewives are believed to have a small but avid following.

Anyone discovered engaging in clandestine religious practice faces official discrimination, arrest, imprisonment, and possibly execution in North Korea. Foolish self-righteous Christians sending balloons with bibles into the country are putting those people at risk. It is the epitome of stupidity. They may as well be sending porn in those balloons it seems the punishment is the same. Bet the locals would appreciate the porn more though.
I am not bashing Christians I am bashing idiots that happen to be Christians.

Romans 13: 1-7
Rom 13:1 Let every person be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except by God’s appointment, and the authorities that exist have been instituted by God.
Rom 13:2 So the person who resists such authority resists the ordinance of God, and those who resist will incur judgment
Rom 13:3 (for rulers cause no fear for good conduct but for bad). Do you desire not to fear authority? Do good and you will receive its commendation,

Those who violate religious restrictions are often accused of crimes such as spying or anti-government activities.
A Christian woman accused of distributing the Bible, a book banned in communist North Korea, was publicly executed last month for the crime, South Korean activists said Friday
The 33-year-old mother of three, Ri Hyon Ok, also was accused of spying for South Korea and the United States, and of organizing dissidents, a rights group said in Seoul, citing documents obtained from the North.
Some analysts wondered if the executions were related to earlier executions of members of the Unhasu Orchestra, a state-run orchestra that First Lady Ri Sol-ju used to sing in.
On Sept. 21, Japan’s Asahi Shimbun reported that nine Unhasu Orchestra members were executed for filming themselves having sex and selling the films as pornography.
The source said, “As the news that people were brutally killed in public executions spread in the countryside, the people have been spreading rumors that say that Kim Jong-un has started a terror campaign in response to the Ri Sol-ju’s pornography scandal.”
