Operation 'Goldfish' - What Romneys VP Vetting Team Uncovered about Chris Christie

Christie woulld do well with the center and independants, the people you need to win an election. That being said as moderates are leaving the GOP the chance a moderate gets the nomination gets smaller everyday. Unless of course the GOP manages to expell the Tea Party problem, then they have a chance at getting back in the running. That could happen in 2014 when the GOP loses the house. Of course that loss could have the opposite effect and result in more fighting and the moderates of the GOP leaving en mass. If that happens then the GOP will fade away. At some point a new national party will form to replace them.

Thanks for posting this FlyersFan. It got me thinking.

My initial response was something along the lines of all politicians are like Christy but the problem is the system around them. That is, it's the water not the fish.

The water in DC today does not tolerate the fish we need. It's like wanting a Salmon run in a cess pool.

The faux-choice of Puffer Fish or Pescado (good one) does not provide fish, it simply provides more foul water.
