The Carlyle group (daddy bush) is trying to secure a multi-billion dollar loan with the Kuwaiti government over Iraq's debts to be repaid after the Gulf war invasion.

But one small detail remains in the way of yet another high treasonous act of the Bush Administration.

It is a rumour/conspiracy but it's believed the Kuwaiti government will not deal with the US aka the "Carlyle administration" until Colin Powell steps down because they are fustrated in dealing with his ethnic background. It has been well documented that Kuwait's government and high society owns human slaves most of which are of African decent.

It's not just africans, there's alot from asia also. And, well, if you ever listened to Saddam's rants, well, one of the reasons he gave for going into Kuwait was that they had enslaved Iraqis. It's not just Kuwait either, A Saudi Princess got into trouble about a year ago for mistreating her servant, who came to the US with her....(probably a slave).....she withheld her identifications and visas, withheld her money, and well beat the heck out of her.

How about some proof of that? Links to legit sources please. I have never seen it documented that Kuwait's use slaves. Last I heard they used to employed quite a few Palestinians before the first gulf war (they sided with Saddam and most were not welcomed back).

If the only legit sources are clearly illegitiment, then what exactly does that solve?

KUWAIT (TIER 2) [Extracted from U.S. State Dept Trafficking in Persons Report, June 14, 2004]

Keep in mind the report was done in 2004 and things are only starting to improve now in Kuwait. 13th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution and the 14th Amendment, outlawed slavery in the United States and prevented the US from dealing with foreign states that endorse/use human slavery.

The Carlyle administration will continue to salivate when the situation involves black gold.

Oh, and how many times has Condoleezza Rice visited the fine country of Kuwait anyways?

Whao nice find, very interesting document. But it looks to me that Powell is not the only one living is more of the "presidents" men leaving also.

And less not forget some othe of the "women".

For Condi she had a bad experience back when she was in a high position working for Chevron and she was awared of the niger valley human violations and did nothing to help the women in the country that had beg her as a african american women to help stop the Chevron from allowing the government in the area from killing their men whenever they were protesting the Chevron violations of their human rights.

Actually the case was taken over by Amnesty international and they got a law suit for the people agaisnt Chevron and Condi move to be one of the President's "women" funny that the incident never was brought to the public even when the law suit was.

When I lived in Saudi, such rumors of the Royal family (which is QUITE extensive by the way) were certainly commonplace. Upon my one and only visit to one of the Princes' (there are many) palaces, I did see many blacks in positions of menial laborers, and none of them seemed very happy.

I was young at the time, but the rumors of the slave trade were quite common. Indeed, we were warned by the adults at the time, not to EVER go anywhere unescorted, because of the slave trade. I actually have NO problem believing this is true.

It is no coincidence that the new Bush administration will not have African Americans. Both Powell and Rice will not be members.

I was really surprised with GWB getting these two for its previous administration. Any pro-white 'christian' governor wouldn't. I guess he needed public support...it was part of the policy. But the neocon-zionist block would never allowed them to go on.

This is complete hogwash. Colin Powell himself said he was going to step down after this term about 2 years ago, way before any of this stuff came up. Colin Powell will not work for GWB anymore after his name was drug through the mud via the WMD B.S. that Cheney and Bush made him spout to the UN. That is why Colin is leaving. It has nothing to do with Daddy Bush.

Actually I believe Rice has been mentioned as a possibility to succeed Powell. So I don't think the real reason why is that their African Americans, Powell just got tired of Bush policy. Too bad his reputation was hurt after the UN with the Iraq mess. I always thought he would make a excellent president, I am a democrat and I would vote for Powell anyday of the week before Bush.

What better way exists to get rid of someone you don't like other than discredit him?

Humm, I wonder why is it that people don't wait for Powell to make a declaration himself instead of "guessing" the reason for him leaving....

Slave trade is alive and well in many countries in the world.

Guess this thread was just another Bush bashing thread and condi rice is the next Secretary of State.

"Condoleezza Rice to Be Named Secretary of State
National Security Adviser Is Bush's Choice to Replace Powell"

abcnews.go.com...

In fact if anything this will make this more difficult for Arab nations to deal with - (1) a woman and (2) a black woman, but they overcame their problems with both during the Madeleine Allbright era and through the Colin Powell era.

Truly Marg not as old as the Bush Bash theories that people think up when they read any, absolutely ANY article wherein Bush may play ANY role. The tear the President down brigade are so outdated that even their leaders have left the picketing lines.

Gotta go with Grndlknatv on this one. We knew last year that Powell was going to go after the election. He was asked if he wanted to run for president and then said then he was not staying.

This is a poor conspiracy.....

Minaeris to many people leaving bush by himself to find who will take the positions available, right now anybody that wants to fulfill a political career and is working for Mr. Bush is going to stay away from him as much as they can, see last four years of Bush so any decisions that the president make good or bad he does not have to worry abuot a next term or fill guilty about the consequences of his desicions.
