During the 2008 campaign, when Obama was running against John McCain, one of the biggest things they harped on about was how Obama was too inexperienced in Foreign Policy.

That he would inevitably, ruin relations between major allies and destabilize important regions to America's foreign power and interest.

As it currently stands in 2013, Obama has alienated Israel, China, Russia, EU countries as well as nearly all the Middle Eastern countries where they are involved.

I'm not just pointing this out to poke fun or for ' neener neener neener' purposes, I'm trying to figure out if you all think the same.

Has Obama used Foreign Policy effectively? Are the current fallouts between him and various other leaders inevitable, because of these hard circumstances, or is it a failure on his part due to inexperience or bad decision making?

I don't want an echo chamber here either, I'm looking for people on both sides to make an effective case for or against Obama as a good spokesperson for America to the rest of the world.

Thoughts?

This is what happens when you elect a 'community organizer' and promote him past his ability level. He simply doesn't know what he's doing. And he's used to having people around him fawning over him, but the fact is that international politics require understanding and dealing with people who aren't going to be madly in love with you. Obama is out of his league. It's just that simple.

The world is laughing at us. The world is taking advantage of us.

Obama's foreign policy is exactly what He and the ultra Left Wing / Liberal agenda is striving for.

All the 'fall outs' are planned 100%.

There are no 'failures' as far as they are concerned. None at all.

The 'decisions' are 100% according to the long term plans.

The entire foreign policy is right on schedule.

Don't be fooled by the latest ruse.

The agenda may be furthered by the International banking units like the B.I.S. and the support of Al-Quida and the Muslim Brotherhood, etc., but that is higher up the ladder. For now we are just talking about how U.S. 'policies' are affecting American public opinions and the American economy.

Just look close at how they are contradicting each other and injecting questions before getting answers to prior questions. The confusion factor is part of the game too.

Very complicated.

Right from the start when Obama went on his worldwide apology tour, bowing to Saudi Royals and Japanese PM's, other leaders knew he was a pushover and totally incompetent.

Spot on tenth. He certainly has not made any friends that for sure.

Even look at Canada, all this flip-flopping on the Keystone pipeline and other energy sharing projects between the US and Canada has hurt relations.

I think previous assertion that Obama lacks tact when it comes to foreign relations are spot on.

Everyone who doesn't understand just exactly
how evil Bashar Assad is, that thinks they are
winning-their-country-back by turning on our
elected officials is following a false light.

Our politicians are trapped by the very laws
surrounding classified information. To openly
divulge it would be an actual criminal act that
would get them charged with treason. Look at
Snowden, or Manning. Government has been
conditioned to suffer this moment.

Obama was elected to be President of our feelings,
not facts. And now he longs for facts.

If the reader wasn't being played by their emotions,
and actually wanted to make a change that counts
they would demand the declassification of all infor-
mation.

But it feels good turning on our own representatives
doesn't it. Beware that false light. There lies ruin.

If you want to leave politcs at the door and get a honest opinion on Obamas foriegn policy you can look to places like the Council on Foriegn relashions. On the the plus side he has repared our ties withour allies, has done serious damage to Al Quaida through the use of drones, increased military ties with Isreal to closest ever, reduced US involement in Iraq and Afganistan, supported a quick and successful campaign in Libyia, greatly increased ties in asia. On the negative side put the failure to close GITMO, failure to advance the Palestian peace process, and the failure to support an elected gov in Egypt as a standard of US policy. Over all he has done pretty well. Some would prefer he was more agressive, some less but, he like most Presidents is somewhere in the middle.

I really don't see how there has been any foreign policy shift since the previous administration. Obama is simply moving along with agendas that were drawn up before anyone had ever heard his name, and the ones that made the policy then are the ones still pulling the strings now.

So, all that has changed is the face in the Whitehouse.

Basically a President is like a quarterback. He gets put in his starting role, gets handed a playbook, and all the plays are called in from the sideline. He may call an audible every now and again but they're preset by his coach.

Yeah it's sort of funny, considering that's how George W felt when he was at those meetings near the end.

Makes you think eh?

I still blame the Bush family for all of this. These people are crooks and sold this country so far down the road, the American people would view Joseph Stalin as a messiah.

Your country was sold long before either Bush took office. Right about the time the Federal Reserve was put into place and the greenback abolished.

As for Foreign Relations, well George isn't the cause of Obama's current problems, he did those all by himself.

Your statement presumes Obama is acting on his own agenda.

The fact you are readily admitting a long history of failed policy, culminating in the present, indicates otherwise. I should clarify the Bush family to include the Prescott and Ford family.

All of these people are the ones actually calling the shots in regard to foreign policy direction. They have a long history of setting up/removing puppet governments. Obama has done nothing new. He is merely continuing past practice.

Yeah Obama's 'foreign policy' has been an utter joke. Yes people he sure has 'made friends' the wrong kind, and 'influenced enemies', who happen to be the same.

Then there are real world leaders who like most of us 'Obama critics' knows this nation is worse off than when he took over.

That politics said. ' The world was going to love us. If we elected Obama'.

'Our image abroad would be just awesome'.

Not really.

The coming crap storm. Duck and cover. Head for your bunkers.
