I'm not arguing your point...but what did those corporations give to Romney? Probably around the same I'd guess. It's like an investment for them in keeping us peons occupied so we won't pay attention to what's really going on.

It's simple the administration will simply turn it around by saying those who don't support The Figurehead are not "true liberals" and are closet racists and isolationists that's how they will stamp out dissent within and from without the Democratic party.

Kerry is already starting ...

Secretary of State John F. Kerry said Tuesday that members of Congress who refused to authorize retaliatory strikes against Syria would be responsible when the regime of Syrian President Bashar Assad gasses its citizens or when North Korea or Iran attempts to use nuclear weapons

Kerry holds objectors responsible for any future atrocities in Syria

Next we'll hear it from Obama and the others.

They want 100% Loyalty and no excuses either !!

His handlers have shown just how arrogant they are.I'm sure the poll numbers was a major shock for them.I expect a all out assault in the media when the street protests start. We will hear all the usual cliches "Racists",Anarchists" and "Unpatriotic" the administration will be pulling out all the stops with this.

Those Bankers L-U-V Liberal agendas.

Look at all the Democrat / Liberal recent legislation since 2007 that passed to enhance the Banker presence in this society.

That also goes the same way in the European Socialist countries AND, Red China too !!

Why do you think one main reason China invests heavily in U.S. Treasury securities ?

Oh, and the corporatist Lobbying (that Obama said he was so against) survives well too.

Corporatism supports basic Marxist economic agendas.

That's what I think of those 'liberals'

FYI to everyone here and on all the Syria threads. Lots of people in the general public have no opinion, or they side with the media on this subject.

The 70% number is just a number. So far anyone I've talked to at work about this is SERIOUSLY uninformed and in their very simple opinion, thinks some dictator is really bad and we should bomb him.

Now, I haven't talked to more than 10 people on this subject, but that's enough for me to say, 80% of them will agree with whatever the news is telling them.

They ask me to give them more details, but how do you simplify into a 60 second discussion, all the backstory to why we (U.S.) might want to invade. (pipelines, israel, dollar currency, iran, false flags, cia/al queda, ....)

We all here are informed, it makes it seem like everyone must be, but they're not. We're not there yet.

I'm so sick of your attitude.

I'm a liberal progressive, and I DON'T WANT WAR! WE DON'T WANT WAR! I want Obama IMPEACHED and THROWN IN PRISON FOR WAR CRIMES, along with Bush and Rumsfeld and McCain and Kerry, too.

Get over yourself, xuenchen, stop with the libel and partisan hatred. We are AMERICANS!!!

GOD DAMN IT!! STOP!!! And HAVE YOU CONTACTED YOUR CONGRESSMEN?
I have, and I told them to say NO, and suggested impeaching Obama. I am furious about this.

So why aren't those 70% of liberals out in massive anti-war protests like they were with Iraq?
It's because there is a (D) in the White House. I find their silence on the matter to be interesting.
(I'm directing that to those liberals who were out protesting last time ... not ALL liberals)

He said it wasn't his line but it was the worlds line. But when you look back at the actual tape of what he said, he did indeed say it was his line. He said 'us' and then referred back to himself ... so it is his red line. He's trying to make it the worlds red line, but the world isn't on board so obviously it isn't their red line. It's just his. He owns it.

This is something I posted in another forum , its worth a try.

A suggestion as a protest to the U.S Government.
Where a black arm band to show the mourning for the Death that will occur of the Syrian civilians.
A. This will show the world how many Americans really care what their Government is doing to others.
B. It will show the Syrian people that you are not behind your Governments decision.
C. It will also show the strength and solidarity that the American people have regarding this issue.
D. It will show the lady that made this video that she has the support of her nation and that you are listening and you are aware.
E. It will show your elected officials how many millions of Americans (Voting power) are firmly against attacking Syria
F. It will bring media attention to the peoples disgust at what is about to be performed in their name.
G. It will bring unity of purpose and give a show of "People Power".
H. It will highlight the Zombies.
I. It will cause people to ask why you wear it.

And it may just go world wide.
It could also get businesses involved and adds may appear with someone wearing an arm band.
Don't forget you are also consumers and they always want to look to be in alignment with your views.

Suggested add " Are you serious about Syria".

Best question of the year.

It is truly showing their hypocrisy

It says, the anti war protesters when Rep. were in office really didn't care about the war or the people.

If they really were/are anti-war they'd be out marching on the streets right now.
