North Carolina governor signs extensive Voter ID law

I just renewed my NC license plate online. This is done by the same agency that issues the NC drivers license. When I went to the site, I noticed that FREE ID's will be available for all NC residents that need a voter ID. Yes I said free. They list what will be required to get the free ID here:

I looked at the requirements and can see no problems. It is all straight forward and pretty simple. The accusations of using this to exclude 'certain groups' from voting will be hard to prove after reading this material. The ID is free so money or lack thereof can not be used as an excuse. The 'requirements' or proof of who you are are easy to obtain. Only two documents are needed from a list of documents that are acceptable.
