ABC EVENING News on Saturday July 27, 2013 had a very small segment in their "Instant Index" piece about these strange humming sounds dating back to the 1950's. A engineering professor from the University of Windsor, Colin Novak (sp?) has been awarded a contract to investigate these sounds stemming from NM in the States to parts throughout England.

Very short segment, but at least it has been noted. Professor appointed to investigate humming sounds
