Take a look at the picture. Is that your idea of what a "deputy" looks like? It sure is Florida's idea of a deputy.

Florida is a harsh, harsh place. I stay the hell out of there. But what's worse is that the entire country will soon look like that. And it's a lot closer than you think. All they have to do is drop the curtain....

This was a SWAT raid. Yes SWAT teams do emulate military units. It is safer for the officers to go into raids dressed in body armor and carrying assault weapons rather then police uniforms and standard issue side arm.

SWAT team members are made up local law enforcement, so yes it looks like a deputy.

they send these heavily armed goons to take down a family with three kids.....every incident is always OVERPLAYED for public consumption.....
these horses arses are paid storm troops......wake up.

So you want to compare a SWAT team to a normal officer right? I just want to make sure I understand before proceeding.

Right, right...all police are pigs and deserve to die. Is that about right?

Police are terrible "stormtrooppers" until you need one.

Deputy #2 shows what size hole a bullet makes as it passes through the body of one of his fellow non armored deputys who would attempt a South Florida drug raid.

You got to dress the part. You wouldnt expect the shirtless firefighter on a beefcake calendar to survive 700-900 degree temperature in a structure fire would you?

Cops dress to survive when they do drug busts. Most drug sellers are usually armed.
