What I found really interesting was the Stanford professor (or was he a doctor?) saying with much hesitance that we were closer to it than apes.

Impossible is simply a lack of imagination.

The humanoid was found to have a fully developed tooth in its mandible, not a fetal tooth, and therefore it cannot be a fetus - mummified or not. It also had 10 ribs, so it was not a normal human being, quite apart from its size, which would have made it impossible to live six hours, let alone the six years estimated by one of the scientists who examined it.

"Sirius" was the biggest joke documentary in the history of UFO documentaries.

This was a Steven Greer production. Need I say any more?

50% of it was all about Greer and his inflated ego and delusions of being the Earth's spokesman to Alien intelligences.

The rest of it consisted of known fake footage such as the orbs forming the crop circle, snippets of people in the military saying "UFO's" "Aliens" "E.T contact" but not following up on any real interviews. Not that we needed them because we heard them ALL before anyway.

(Anyone ever notice that it's alwats THE SAME ex-military guys saying their story in all these UFO doco's?)

And the Atacama alien turned out to be human.

Greer needs to wither away and fade into the night

A quote from here:

www.huffingtonpost.co.uk...

Gary Nolan, director of stem cell biology at Stanford University’s School of Medicine in California, who features in the documentary, said: “I can say with absolute certainty that it is not a monkey. It is human – closer to human than chimpanzees. It lived to the age of six to eight.

“Obviously it was breathing, it was eating, it was metabolising. It calls into question how big the thing might have been when it was born."

Of the DNA tests he carried out, he adds: “The sequence that we got from the mitochondria [energy factories of cells] tells us with extremely high confidence that the mother was an indigenous Indian from the Chilean area. The other thing that immediately fell out of the analysis is that it's male. It probably died in the last century, if I were to make a guess."

In a report and summary published online, Dr Nolan says the specimen had "an apparently severe form of dwarfism and other anomalies."

Here's the report itself:

But hey, conspiracy nuts will say it's all fake.

I find it interesting that the people who hailed from this region seem to have made the first mummies.

Not only is the Atacama desert known for plenty of old mummies, it is also known that the culture there on occasion shrunk heads and entire bodies before mummification. Back in the 50s, another researcher already found a shrunken fetus in the SAME area, except that at that time no one used the word "alien", it was immediately clear that it was "only" a shrunken fetus (or very young child). And the earlier one looked TO THE DOT exactly like the alleged Atacama "alien"!

Why is the newly found mummy now supposedly an alien? Oh wait! Because Greer is a conman, that's why.
edit on 18-7-2013 by NoRulesAllowed because: (no reason given)

When heads and bodies are "shrunk" the skeleton is removed first as the boiling process cannot reduce the size of the bones. So whatever it is, it isn't anything that has subsequently been shrunken using that process.
