FBI director admits domestic use of drones for surveillance.

rt.com

“Does the FBI use drones for surveillance on US soil?” Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) asked Mr. Mueller during an oversight hearing on Capitol Hill Wednesday before the Senate Judiciary Committee.

“Yes,” Mueller responded bluntly, adding that the FBI’s operation of drones is “very seldom.”

Nothing surprises me anymore, we have lost control of our Government.....and most Americans dont care because of the "I Have Nothing To Hide" mentality is sweeping the nation.

The truth is if we dont start to act soon and let these people in Washington know that WE THE PEOPLE built this country and we still hold all the cards; we are doomed, we need to act now or give up our rights.

This is going way too far, Prism, Echelon, Drone surveillance of the American people......this has to EFFIN STOP!!!

Asked by Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-California) to elaborate, Mueller added, “It’s very seldom used and generally used in a particular incident where you need the capability.” Earlier in the morning, however, Mueller said that the agency was only now working to establish set rule for the drone program.

So what that means is, when they feel it necessary to spy on us they will in a hear beat.

The drone program should have had a set of rules in place a long time ago to prevent just this kind of thing from happening.

For the love of our once great nation, UNITE and stop these atrocities from happening to us.
March on Washington, march on your state capital, DEMAND a permanent end to drone use spying and data basing of the American People!

Th

Reminds me of a poem by Niyi Osundare I had to learn way back in secondery (what you yanks call high) School:

They picked Akanniup one morning
Beat him soft like clay
And stuffed him down the belly
Of a waiting jeep.
What business of mine is it
So long they don't take the yam
From my savouring mouth?

They cameone night
Booted the whole house awake
And dragged Danladiout,
Then off to a lengthy absence.
What business of mine is it
So long they don't take the yam
From my savouring mouth?

Chinwe went to work one day
Only to find her job was gone:
No query, no warning, no probe -
Just one neat sack for a stainless record.
What business of mine is it
So long they don't take the yam
From my savouring mouth?

And then one evening
AsI sat down to eat my yam
A knock on the door froze my hungry hand.
The jeep was waiting on my bewildered lawn
Waiting, waiting in its usual silence.

It basicly from the point of view of a person you described. A "I have nothing to hide or fear" menality.

Yeah he fine as everbody around him is taken and abused what does it matter to him as long as he is not affected? But eventually they come for him.

And what, exactly, is 'very seldom'?

Once a week? Once a year? Every day?

And precisely what are they used for and on whom?

I believe it's similar to a poem by Martin Niemöller in vibe :

"In Germany they came first for the Communists, and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a Communist. Then they came for the Jews, and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a Jew. Then they came for the trade unionists, and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a trade unionist. Then they came for the Catholics, and I didn't speak up because I was a Protestant. Then they came for me, and by that time no one was left to speak up."

In other words we have let this happen because as it builded up we always had our belly full and felt good... until they came to our door.

Personally I think drones do have uses as well as normal CCTV cameras, it's the implication they give I do not like. We can and will be watched at all times, look at prism and how nobody really cares.

Well when you do care it will be too late, you are not living in a free society if someone or something is always finding more ways to catch you doing something they deem wrong... That is a police state.

Basically what the poems are saying is that because we are so complacent, and blinded by things that we dont notice that we are being taken for a ride.

Our rights are being chipped away under us and most dont notice because they have their techno goodies and crap.

Exactly.

Both poems say similar things. Most people are so selfish and wrapped up in there little lifes they dont notice till they are being dragged off to the concentration camps.

That's the jist of it

It's ok though... it's only to catch terrorists and criminals, and anyone can be one of those two in theory.

So don't worry about it, go play some call of duty or play on your smart phone, your innocent.... for now

That is exactly the point i was trying to make.....people are going to let it happen until the people are all criminals.

Another thing i dislike is police cars with sticker/plate scanning capability. Now they can scan and ticket you without getting out of the drivers seat.

You're so, so right it's sad...

I've been telling people about all these types of things for a while now, but especially about the surveillance aspect, people don't care because they have nothing to hide (apparently). These people don't care they already post their entire lives on social media sites for anyone to see and they're unable to see the ramifications of all this...

I've said it many times and I'll say it again, those subservient sheeple who accept all of this and keep themselves willfully ignorant are MORE dangerous than ANY terrorist could ever be to our freedoms and liberties.

9-11 brought us the patriot act, and with the patriot act lots of wars, lots of surveillance, lots of red tape, lots of financial waste, lots of anguish.

Too bad I don't see an official 9-11 investigation that is accurate happening anytime soon. Some top level beauracrats would be hanging from a rope, or given a lethal injection or high voltage through their body.

We just call it all facism without knowing who or what is behind anything. Lots and lots of evils are being covered up by the msm.

looks to me like the US is getting ready for a crime intervention sweep......maybe that's what all FEMA camps are for?

Or is it going to be more like debtors prison? Working for pennies on the dollar in some prison to "Pay" off your debt to the US government?

I think this whole thing is to keep tabs on the people till they are ready to enact some crazy scheme.......then the people will be in so deep its too late.

That is just the tech and tricks the general public know about... I know as an almost fact that the police have facial recognition technology and the ability to view most of your social media details without ever getting out of a squad car.

Here in the UK some police cars have flash cameras built into the side of the emergency lights so they can photograph you as the drive past... happened to me a few times when I was a bit younger on the way back from a pub or something alike late at night.

Not to mention hi res cameras on satellites that can scan your retinas from space and confirm your identity and location anywhere in the world.

Plus webcams and camera phones and cctv worldwide. There is no more hiding.

OKOK maybe i embellished a little...or did i?

Mueller began answering questions just after 10 a.m. EDT and has also touched briefly on the recently exposed NSA surveillance program that has marred the reputation of the United States intelligence community as of late. Mueller said 22 agents have access to a vast surveillance database, including 20 analysts and two overseers. When Sen. Al Franken (D-Minnesota) asked Mueller later in the morning if he’d consider being more open about the FBI’s surveillance methods, the director decried being much more transparent that the bureau already is. Mueller said the FBI has and will continue to weigh the possibility of publishing more information about its spy habits, but warned that doing such would be to the advantage of America’s enemies.

Oh look more great news!

“There is a price to be paid for that transparency,” Mueller said. “I certainly think it would be educating our adversaries as to what our capabilities are.”

Your adversaries? How about some transparency with THE PEOPLE!
