This is an obviously biased source, but it does have real information.

Edited: sorry mod, removed my reference after seeing your post. People look through the page to Martin's facebook comments and you will see what I was going to mention. It might be that Martin wasn't just using, but making money selling.. you know.

And none of it matters. Why? Because Zimmerman would have not known any of this at the time of the shooting. Since he did not know, none of this would have any bearing on Zimmerman's state of mind at that moment.

Look I am in the Zimmerman camp….Duh…
however I am intensely interested in the trial.

I honestly do not believe they should have charged him based on the real evidence not the MSM BS that has been fed to everyone. I missed most of it because I was out of the country when this happened and I do not watch cable or MSM.

I think they only charged based on public demand drummed up by those who have tried to make this an issue based on race….Freaken idiots… With that being said if the prosecution actually provides some piece of evidence that completely contradicts Zimmerman’s statements I will change my mind but so far all they have done is prove that they have over reached on this. This is nothing but a witch hunt but luckily our justice system is better than that.

IMO those who remain racially motivated by this trial are being bigots themselves.

Definitely, it had to be hard for Ivan to post that, he had to know better. That bias just pushes him forward regardless of how goofy it makes him sound.

Martin made racist remarks, was caught with bags with drug residue, was caught with burglary tools and stolen jewelry that was most likely burgled from a house that was very close to his school and reported missing items (the items weren't compared because he said he found them and so they were written up as lost/found), he was caught writing graffiti (not art either), it was reported he assaulted a bus driver, he got his mother to straw purchase a 40 cal pistol for him because he was under age, he posted pictures of drugs and himself using drugs to friends, his friends sent him texts telling him he shouldn't fight so much, and so on.

His character was clear. He was a young thug that embraced the hood lifestyle.

george zimmermans wife filed a restraining order against him, made comments about wanting to run over mexicans, threw a woman across the room spraining her ankle, was charged with assaulting an off duty police officer, made racist comments towards a middle eastern co-worker, threatened to have his biker buddies "take care" of someone for him, molested a younger relative......

treading carefully here.....the autopsy revealed that he(travon) was not under the influence of anything during the altercation, yes he had the Voldemort of the plant world in his system but not at levels that would indicate recent use....so hopefully that can at least put that question to the rest.

You know I didn’t think he was on anything at the time maybe if he had been he wouldn’t have been so aggressive. If anything (read that as IF) he was jonesing which would have made him more aggressive.

I was actually pro Trayvon when the first thread popped up right after it all happened, but changed my mind a few pages in after I reviewed the evidence and realized that NBC had edited the 911 call to make Zimmerman sound racist. Also they used a mugshot of Zimmerman and a 3 year old picture of a 14 year old Trayvon to manipulate peoples opinions.

I support Zimmerman because I am completely against "trial by media" like what we saw against Casey Anthony and have been saying against Zimmerman. People like Nancy Grace and the people of HLN and NBC manipulate the info and use biased reporting to manipulate the opinions of Americans in mass. They create situations like we have of hundreds if not thousands of people threatening via twitter to kill random white people if Zimmerman goes free. They pollute jury pools. It's just bad all around, there were multiple Trayvon based attacks after the story got big. I was very surprised that Casey Anthony got the fair trial and got the justice she deserved based on the medias portrayal of her.

If you were asked to go in depth on those alleged events people would see that they weren't as severe as you make them sound. The first incidences were dropped (the one with the wife was a mutual thing, the cop was beating up his friend, the woman was while he was a security guard so she was likely doing something she shouldn't have been, and the final thing is alleged and wasn't alleged until AFTER this case came about).

HAHA I think I remember debating/Arguing with you over this. Yeah you were pro Martin for a while I am glad you weighed the evidence.

I got back to the states a week or two after this happened it caught my attention then I went back overseas till a couple weeks ago occasionally coming on here seeing the threads. My opinion hasn’t changed much but of course I haven’t been blasted by media from it either.

Moral of story Media Sucks.

It does matter because it could explain WHY he looked so suspicious. It could explain why it took him an hour to make a .6 mile trip. It could explain what he was doing meeting those three guys outside of the gas station (he waited several minutes after he bought his items [or ingredients whichever]).

Re ad these. Just theories, but worth consideration.

The next page, also worth considering. Mentions the three guys that Martin waited on who seem to have bought him a cigar skin.

The Crazy Cat Lady witness with the night light and one of the asian ladies that testified have already admitted that images in the media made them "assume" things about the incident they witnessed.

One said she "assumed" the higher pitched voice she heard calling for help was Trayvon, because he was such a young boy. When asked if she had ever heard Zimmerman speak, she said no. When asked if she had ever heard Martin speak, sbe sajd no. So, when they asked again why she thought it was Trayvon, she kept going back to what she had seen on tv, that he was a young boy.

The attorney then asks her (she stated she was a teacher and athletics coach) hadn't she been around children of all ages, up to and including 17, that were going through and essentially gone through puberty, and had their voices change? She suddenly became very evasive and didn't want to answer any more questions, instead, she kept saying, "I guess." "I suppose".

It got to the point where she admitted much of her testimony was assumed.

The asian lady came right out and admitted it. When asked if she made assumptions based on images of Trayvon she saw on tevision, she said yes. She said the pictures made her think Trayvon was small, therefore, he must have been the one on the bottom, regardless that she said the one on top was wearing the darker clothing.

The media portrayal of Trayvon as a little 12 year old pre-pubescent child has done immense damage to race relations in this country.

The image of George Zimmerman in the orange shirt is also just as deceptive, as 99% of people assume it was a mugshot, when, in fact, it was not. It also does not accurately portray George, either, as he had lost a lot of weight, and IIRC, he weighed 153 lbs the night of the incident when he was arrested.

Disclaimer: The reason I call her the Crazy Cat Lady is, ahe claims she heard 3 gunshots.

She claimed she was on the phone with 911 when the gunshots rang out, even after the 16 minute long tape was played in court, and no such thing happened.

And, best of all, all the claims about her and being in the Olympics and all? Bogus and proven to be false by people that researched her claims.

And now, for the biggest takeaway from the trial today, aside from the final statement made by Serino, is this:

O’Mara noted, however, that in fact the extent of injuries
don’t matter for purposes of self-defense, and Serino agreed. “In fact,”
observed O’Mara,” we don’t need to see life-threatening injuires, not any
injuries, dow we?” “No, sir,” answered Serino.

/case over

People want to bang away at this topic, "He just didn't seem injured ENOUGH!" and just would never get it.

Exactly.. in such an intense situation, when you are being beaten and in pain and fear how could you possibly judge how much damage has been done to you? He doesn't know if he's not bleeding or if he's skull is fractured, he just knows he's in pain and it doesn't seem to be ending. The Martin defenders seem to be so self righteous that they have a set amount of abuse they are will to take before they would shoot a 17 year old that was beating them. The next hit might have been the one that incapacitated him, he had to make a move.

Yep.. it definitely caused huge problems for this country. I just made a post to that effect on the page about Trayvons family winning the civil suit. When the case ends, if he is acquitted, will people just take to the street in a blood thirsty mob? They whined until he was arrested, but were the politicians so naïve as to think it would end there? Or did they know it would go on. They didn't want justice, they wanted him convicted. I even considered, if rioting wasn't the goal, they might have to convict just to overturn on the first appeal when less people are watching. They really messed this up.

I know that young picture messed with people, it even had me support Trayvon during the first few days, until I thought and weighed the evidence. I did (and still think) that the picture of Zimmerman was a mug shot. Are you sure it isn't? It was intentional so people would see a fatter Zimmerman against a younger Martin (when in reality it was a much thinner Zimmerman against a much older Martin).

You can just look at Zimmerman's face and tell that he's not capable of viciously executing someone.

Yeah that is the moronic mentality I have been seeing lately. People actually think you have to be on the verge of death before you can defend yourself. That is freakin stupid.

The other thing people are doing is acting like George should have known how old TM was not that it matters when someone is 6ft and trying to kill you. Oh my bad 5ft 11 inches not that I could tell the difference but I will be precise for the…….nevermind.

No, iirc, that was his drivers license photo. Mugshots don't get taken in orange jumpsuits till you go to prison. And they are thin material, not heavy cotton like in Georges' photo. Every mugshot in Fla. is in street clothes, go Google it. No media ever proclaimed it, they just put it out there knowing people would asume it, and BOY did they! The public played right into thsir hands.

Dude that is like saying someone’s skin color determines their temperament. Really you are going on looks.

As I shake head and walk away......they never learn do they.

Do not go by pictures go by facts. Sarcasm sometimes doesn't convey in text but it did.

From what I have read...seen and now heard from varying communities, this is nothing but a witch hunt.

Black people now have a grudge (one they have carried for sometime) and they wish to bring it to bare.

White people are now an endangered species.

Good luck Mr Zimmerman.
