HLN is trying to read the minds of the 6 female jurors.

now they are talking about race and how it could influence the jurors. Of course... it was kind of hammered into the minds of people who were paying attention to this case from the get-go.

now one pundit just said 'we cant read their minds but....'

There we go again with RACE!

I don’t mind them speculating…that’s what we’re doing, too. But why do they have to keep bringing up race. If you’re a jury member, why should it matter what race you are or what race the defendant is??? If race is a factor in your decision as a juror, that’s not justice….that’s racism!!

Breaking: A juror has come out to ask the court a question....

I think its about notes or 911 trascript. Not sure.

They are now saying the attorneys have been called back int the court room.

Why the secrets? Why should they need permission to see evidence? They should have all the evidence in the room with them......

Trust me. I wish it were the same here. Trial by media has gotten popular here and for some reason i think it has to do with HLN and Nancy Grace. Every trial by media seems to start with her sensationalizing it on her show and her biased and hateful attitude seems to be assumed by the public. She is an idiot, misandrist, guilty until proven innocent, talks over and cuts everyone off, shamed former prosecutor with a t.v. show.

She is a bane to our justice system.

i suspect CNN was disappointed with that question. Takes the edge of the hype.

I feel good about the juror's request, and here's why:

Most likely, they are all on the same page, maybe 1 or 2 on the fence..

The fence ones probably needed to verify what the acquit ones are saying by looking at some evidence (which all favored the Defense), and now that they have it....

I don't know that a juror is anal retentive. It may be that they recorded evidence in their notes with the reference number instead of a description. Sounds like they want to look at something specific.

My thoughts exactly. Very good sign for the defense.

I was also thinking... since the prosecution's evidence was minimal to non-existent. if they ask for a list of evidence, then maybe they'll figure out the prosecution has no case at all. its nice to see they are doing their homework.

Yep, just like the Jodi Arias trial (hung jury) it just takes one "not to budge", jeeeze
this could blow my 6 hour verdict (or less) yawwwnnn...

I would be more worried if they requested the jury instructions or burden of proof material. I bet you’re right….I bet there are one or two jurors who have a bad recollection of a key part of the evidence and want to see it for themselves rather than listening to the others (which is exactly what they should do).

Hell, who am I kidding…..I have no idea what they’re doing. This is as frustrating as waiting for election results.

That's exactly the type of mentality that leads to rioting isn't it....someone has to pay, right?

Innocent people in the wrong place at the wrong time are always on the receiving end of some punk's rage. Maybe one day people in our society will learn to control themselves....those who don't, as Martin found out the hard way, sometimes pay with their life.

So standing out front of my house then being led out of the neighborhood by a fellow with an AR makes me a punk and him the good guy?
