So we have had the strongest solar eruption of 2013 and we dont peak until later this year. Exciting


I think it is only a matter of time before a strong one hits us face on, will be interesting to see the effects.

...and it always seems to settle down when facing the earth so we should be fine. It pops off x's left and right when it rotates out of view and just before it turns into view. All it has managed today is a C1.6 since the X1.2 and has dropped from there to C1.4 with the last being C1.1

It does seem to as you say but it only takes once...


Just a crap shoot IMO.

I see they have upped the chance of X to 60% from 50% for the next 3 days and increased the PCAF from green to yellow, not sure what that means though.
