F-16, Sale of the Century (F-16 documentary from 1979)

This documentary is about the F-16 program in its early years (1979) from a European perspective. At the time there were serious concerns about the aircrafts performance, survivability, safety, cost, technology transfer, and industrial offsets. We all know how the F-16 turned out (extremely well).



I posit the fact that the F-35 will end up the same.

Nice. I was looking for some old documentaries to watch tonight. This is some nice vintage material on the military industrial complex of 1979. Thanks for posting!

Likewise as S.J. just said. I was carrier based in this period. (78/79) Saw some fly overs. Impressive.
