First of all - who are you replying to?
Anyone?
Everyone?

I'm making the assumption that meant me due to the fact that mine was the last post before your's.

So, you are in favor of this prosecution?

When did I imply that?
Please show me or explain your reasoning.

What I am in favour of is the independance of the judiciary and CPS - that was the point I was making in my last post - something that's obviously gone way over your head.

What a good little socialist you must be.

What on earth has socialism got to do with anything?
What on earth have my personal political beliefs, whatever they may be, got to do with anything?

Your post reeks of paranoia, stereotyping and outright ignorance and displays a complete absence of reasoned thought or respectful debate.

These charges are bogus bull#.

The only charges that have been made are against two of the burglars - you can't even be bothered to get the details right.

And what work was that?

Deliberately provoke?

You seem unwilling to enter into any sort of discussion and debate and are content to spout complete and utter bollocks.

Zero credibility.

in answer to the op ,at least this way justice and the law is seen to be done, openly and transparently .Whether the law is right or wrong is another matter.

The 2 homeowners have been released on bail and 2 of the burglars have been bailed as well but other 2 have been charged and kept in prison.

When will the UK, crap nation it has become learn people! If you find someone breaking into your family home in the dead of night then you have the god given right to protect yourself and you property with any force necessary! Stuff there daft laws, demand a jury trial, none of your 12 peers will return a guilty verdict if the have the sense that god gave them. I would have carved my name on one of there foreheads if it was my flat!

That answer is exactly the reason why its againt the law to use , wholly unreasonable ,over the top reactionary force which bears no relation to the crime.

The other reason it is against the law is to stop people or persons , kidnapping someone , or inviting them around for tea say , then killing them and claimimg is "was a burglary guvnor, he had it coming"

"demand a jury trial, none of your 12 peers will return a guilty verdict if the have the sense that god gave them."

you do realise that any jury has to do there duty in regard to the laws applicable?

In this case no excess force...mebbe just a floodlight instead of a shotgun next time...lol

I'm glad I live in the USA. If someone breaks into your home you can shoot them. You gotta be sure it isn't your kid coming home to visit from out of town. He may not want to wake you and knows how to get in from when he snuck in and out when he was a kid.
did that when I was a teenager. Did it one time when I was older to, it was late, surprised them in the morning when I came out of the spare bedroom.

You are spectacularly missing the point. When you encounter an intruder in your home you have no idea what they might do - to you or your family. As a single retired female I'd most definitely come off badly in an tussle and I would have no compunction about blowing their head off as they came up the stairs or clobbering them with something heavy.

You are unlikely to be actually prosecuted in the UK - if you were in fear for your life.
So long as you have a gun licence and you didn't shoot them outside and running away.

And that's fine but those of us who are sick or disabled or elderly don't have that option.

"That answer is exactly the reason why its againt the law to use , wholly unreasonable ,over the top reactionary force which bears no relation to the crime."

If i find someone breaking into my home and i kill them or atleast mame them you think its unreasonable or over the top? I would say they had it coming to them and they deserve the punishment. Wait until some wee ned or chav messes with your serenity and see how you feel having to tell a child "Sorry no Xmas presents this year because someone stole them". IMHO

"Sound like English to me......"

Its glaswegian or surrounding area trust me. Or ask the person who posted it.

they alread have , I used "reasonable" force to detain both of them , one had a gun ( which as I know guns I knew to be a air pistol , one had a bat , I detained them , i didnt need to kill them , this WAS in my homeagain, I did not need took KILL them.

So as someone who has been there but in my home , not in a barn , I still say it is wrong to value possesions over any human life ....sue me.

"so thats 2 of us that didnt feel the need to kill them..."

I got the stuff back and marked the lad for life, so no i did not feel the need to kill him. I am however sure someone else will get around to it at some point since what goes around comes around, and that particular ned most assuredly goes around. I dont " feel the need to kill" anything unless provoked to do so. Life is complicated, but it does not have to be evil.
