I can see that your enormous ego is in the way of reality, Barack Obama is an important person, he is the president of the USA. This has nothing to do with worshiping him, it's just reality. He is a human with a very significant job that can affect the whole world.

Q: ormirian
Are you considering increasing funds to the space program?
A: PresidentObama
Making sure we stay at the forefront of space exploration is a big priority for my administration. The passing of Neil Armstrong this week is a reminder of the inspiration and wonder that our space program has provided in the past; the curiosity probe on mars is a reminder of what remains to be discovered. The key is to make sure that we invest in cutting edge research that can take us to the next level - so even as we continue work with the international space station, we are focused on a potential mission to a asteroid as a prelude to a manned Mars flight.
President Barack Obama's proposed fiscal year 2013 budget for NASA slashes funds for the planetary science program by $309 million — a more than 20 percent reduction of the money appropriated in the previous year. The proposed budget for planetary science includes a $130 million cutback in the agency's Mars exploration program. .. (article from March 2012)
The White House has called for draconian cuts to NASA's budget, forcing the Agency to shelve undertakings that run the gamut from ambitious planetary missions to educational outreach. ... How will the White House’s brutal budget cuts affect NASA?
still no straight answer !! I wonder what they call the stuff?
Q: silent1mezzo
What's the recipe for the White House's beer?
A: PresidentObama
It will be out soon! I can tell from first hand experience, it is tasty.

Do you have anything constructive to add? You seem to miss the damned significance of this event. It's like the fire side chats except thousands of times more personal and genuine. This is the POTUS interacting with individuals on a one on one level through the social and intellectual subconsciousness of the human race [the internet].

That's a valid question.
He takes questions from reporters and from people at Townhalls...so not sure why he couldn't type out 10 responses to questions on Reddit.
People will always doubt if it was really him...he will have to video tape himself next time actually typing for people to actually believe it.

He (along with other Republicans) warned about it on many occasions. Of course he has a devoted media to also held bury this fact.
Republicans WROTE the bill to repeal the glass-stegal act, that was the main cause of the crash........Only 5 out of 200 republicans voted to NOT repeal it.
Republicans were warned about it? They directly CAUSED it.
So did Clinton, as he signed it....have you not realized both parties work for the banks yet?
When Clinton signed the Republican repeal of the Glass-Steagall Act, he planted the seed that grew into the housing bubble crash and the need to bail out Wall Street - and the Democrats have been left to reap that crop.
One doesn't have to be pro-Democrat to be anti-Republican. There is a lot of good - and bad, in both parties, so the more accurate finger-wagger should address the nuts-and-bolts instead of the whole engine. Obama and the Democrats are getting the blame for not fixing the current economic crisis - and it's true, they aren't, but it's also true the current crisis wasn't entirely of their making. They helped in many ways, but it was the removal of the safety barriers in the Banking Act of 1933, (Glass-Steagall), that allowed our financial markets to careen off course.

The term Glass–Steagall Act, however, is most often used to refer to four provisions of the Banking Act of 1933 that limited commercial bank securities activities and affiliations between commercial banks and securities firms. Starting in the early 1960s federal banking regulators interpreted these provisions to permit commercial banks and especially commercial bank affiliates to engage in an expanding list and volume of securities activities. By the time the affiliation restrictions in the Glass–Steagall Act were repealed through the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act in 1999, many commentators argued Glass-Steagall was already “dead.” Most notably, Citibank’s 1998 affiliation with Salomon Smith Barney, one of the largest US securities firms, was permitted under the Federal Reserve Board’s then existing interpretation of the Glass-Steagall Act. Clinton publicly declared, "The Glass-Steagall Act is no longer relevant."
If Obama came on here he would get his arse handed to him on just about everything even from someone who would support him. Most of us can read through the lies. But to be honest i would do that to just about every politician. Someone should have asked why he got Eric Holder out of the hot water considering he him self "knew nothing" about fast and furious lol.
