A little clarification... the UNpartial.com site will not contain any original content, and while there may be long term potential, initially we're not as concerned about being seen as arbiters of truth as we are being those who deployed unique natural language technology that enabled a more informed view of political news.

I promise that I know nothing more than what you quoted the boss man as having said.

He's been extremely busy with the project of course and although he's here if we need him, SO's been working what I'm sure is 20 hour days with his new team to build up Unpartial and Stremor.

I think, that if all goes to plan, it really will change the way that political news coverage is delivered/analyzed.

I'm guessing that they digitalised Diogenes.

Either that or they created an AI that'll either be Max Headroom (80's reference ) or a program that'll start a war with humans and go back in time for John Connor.

Well, it is a beta launch for the platform, and that tweet was from a few weeks ago, so who knows for sure.

Although, it's a good bet that they would launch on a Friday, as that gives them all weekend to address any technical "opportunities" prior to the Monday morning news cycle.

The only way to test new programming is to break it. It makes perfect sense, to me anyway.

all i'm getting from these videos people are posting in the various UN threads, is that UN.com is some political news aggregate site, and that Stremor is some kind of marketing network they are launching. which, to be honest, does not excite me at all. i'm sure it's great news for SO and company, but for us ats members....big whoop.
