The elephant in the room on Gun Rights activism, is that it is NOT a conservative notion at ALL. The NRA is a member of the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) The real mission of the NRA is very dark, and is funded by the major gun manufacturers and white supremists. The white supremists use the NRA and "sporting clubs" to organize groups whose mission is to arm "white america" for an impending race war.. the truth is, the NRA wants gun rights for some races, and not others... The gun manufacturers want to utilize scare tactics to drum up sales. They funded ads on drudge and other sites depicting President Obama (I am a conservative Christian BTW) as a gun grabber, when in fact, he has been better for gun rights than George W Bush was.. Guns lasta long time, and would not have any reason to turn over inventory unless they can get people to smuggle, run guns, or stock up. Thus the fear mongering.

Republicans have actually been the most active against the NRA, with both Nixon and George HW Bush disavowing their memberships, and Brady forming an anti NRA group and lobbying for the successful passing of the Brady bill...

We've been had. We need to wake up. The US has mor guns per capita than any nation in history... And the most gun violence of any country in history. All for racism and money??

Actually, the NRA exists to make money... LOTS of money... from lobbyists and special interest groups that purport to champion the 2nd Amendment. I don't think it has anything to do with supplying Neo-Nazis with weaponry. They will sell a gun to anyone who has the money... green is the only color they care about.

The NRA is just USING the white supremists in my opinion to sell guns for the manufacturers. If you buy a good gun, it lasts 60-70 years or longer. the only way to get people to buy more is to have them stock up...

The elephant in the room is a federal government wanting to take away the 2nd period!!! Reguardless of partisanship!

Obama has been the greatest gun saleman in American history but yet, why do we always here it as a right/left issue????

Thus, the fatal flaw of the conspiracy theorists- fear mongoring via the use of fake claims in the hopes they can use them on an uninformed audience. The NRA isn't "racist" any more than they're "conservative"- they represent gun owners, period. They have taken no stance on gay rights, the economy, defense spending, affirmative action, nor any other public issue unrelated to the rights of gun owners. Ask them what their official stance is on giving government grants to artists that take photos of crucifixes in jars of urine and you won't get one. The OP almost certainly knows that, but he doesn't care- he simply thinks it's funny to invent whatever reason he can come up with to call the NRA "racists" and he doesn't care how goofball they sound.

The proof is in the pudding; I looked left, right, up and down for proof that "the NRA is a member of the ACLU" and found literally nothing. It's now the responsibility of the OP to back the claim up or retract it for being false.

I believe we should all be armed all the time. That way nobody steps out of line because everybody will hold them instantly accountable (with bullets).

Ok fine your right take away all the guns. Guess what happens then. When someone breaks into a womans house and tries to rape her at knife point what is she going to do? Try and fight him? Statisticly she is not strong enough or skilled enough to resist. What if there are more than one? What if they are after her and her 5 year old daughter?

Guns are the only thing that puts an 80 year old woman on the same ground as a 20 year old gang banger.

If you take away guns from the populace then the only people who will have guns are the criminals who will be purchasing them illegaly.
