Its better if you can split the image in the 3 or 4 channels (RGB, HSL or CMYK) and work you the best image. I tried it and I got the best results splitting in 3 channels and using the Red channel, because digital cameras usually make pictures with too much red if they not have enough light. You can also try the Black channel, but then the image appears in negative.

When we do not need the color, its better to work with black and white.

I've had a go with photoshop and the drape beneath her arm seems to be part of her clothing. In the enhanced image i am looking at you can see where it connects to her arm.

There also seems to be a light source coming from the right of the picture, the reflection is visible on the glass to the left of the woman and the cabinet to her right. In the daylight picture of the room i think you can see this reflected in the TV screen. The shelving to the left of the hottie is also casting a shadow down and towards the door. Is there a light source in the room that you can think would cause this, Killcreek?

Sad fact that too many people want to slate the pic and declare it a fake - i posted a pic on ats a while ago and got exactly the same treatment, all i wanted was some help - no offence to everyone doing their bit but do ya bit before you accuse everyone and everything to be a fake! good looking ghost though

I am not saying that the pictures are fake. I am merely focusing on the woman in the photograph. She appears to be exiting a closet, wearing a rodeo/dance/pageant/vaudeville/stripper outfit. If she is not indeed exiting a closet, please let me know.

I apologized for the "busted" comment. The two green photos appeared to be common reflectors or glow-in-the-dark reflectors from the bicycle in the 1st photograph. The alligator shape resembled a glow-in-the-dark handlebar.

It's a strange series of photographs...that is why I despeckled and contrasted them...to try to find a pattern. If I had a photograph of a strange woman coming out of my closet, I would be scared chitless and would move back to DC.

Yeah, thanks for pointing that out, I've done that too, but I wanted to get a full coloured pic, and from what I could do, that was the best. Will try again however.

Agreed bluemeanie, and though I do agree in a little disagreement with such matters, if the member is asking for help on it, then that's what other members on the board should do, exactly that. Others just tend to take everything way off topic, far from a solution.

I disagree. I would like to have believed his story (and I did at first) as would many others but I like to take facts into hand.
There was just too much paranormal going on in his post in the past few months for me to be a continued believer.

The girlfriend part sealed it for me.

Nice job. I know it hurts individuals who post genuine photographs only to see them picked apart, but it's got to be done in order to establish truth. I'm sorry for being blunt in my earlier posts, but my gut feeling told me to speak up.

It takes a bit of time to download, open, analyze, pick apart, and to upload and present a photograph. I'm sure some of us have been doing it for years. I'm sorry, KillCreek, if you're still reading this thread...but you made a boo boo.

Hey Killcreek, how bout a response.

The fabric behind "haunted hottie" is a bunch of t-shirts on hangers in the closet.

While it is a spooky pic if you everything you say is true, I don't get the goosebumps or any feeling associated with seeing a real paranormal entity. Now that could be because the girl is a real and alive person or I have lost my ability to sense these things over the net.

I had hoped, especially since he was insisting he was sincere, that there'd be more to this, or somethign at least. Yet another fraud strikes the forum.

Real or fake- I guess there are worse things that could manifest in your room. I talked with a friend of mine not to long ago. I wondered what was up with closets. Why do things hang out/manifest in closets? Her opinion was that it's a doorway- figuratively and metaphorically. That and clothing/objects are "imprinted" with the owners "energy" and thus adds power to this portal and attracts things. I'm not sure I buy that, but it was the only explanation I could find. Just thought I'd throw that out there.

TO all people on this site, this is something to learn.

Look you come to a website on the internet with the biggest consintration of kooks and conspiricy theorists... Do you actually think you can just take a pic screw it up a bit and then hope it passes off.. come on.. this is what we do.. Look at all the info on this site, there is nothing that hasnt been proven unless otherwise under scrutiny. Nothing can and will get past this site unless its closely examined. So i am not to suprised that they found the case of this.. I was watching this post since the beginning, to see what would happen. as soon as the brighter version of the image was made I knew for fact this was a hoax, why???

When someone dies most do not die and show themselves as a hooker, they die and show themselves as they liked to have been seen, The image looked more real than a ghostly figure. Altho I have seen few images of ghostly figures that looked amost real but thats very few in a million.

Also there were to much modern things that the chick wore that is a complete give away, the one post either stated the stockings as being newer... the outfit looks like a wench costume from kmart or something...

Anyway To Killcreek, if they do not ban you.. I suggest you never post again, cause I tell ya, if you post something, this will be 100 times worse...

I personally think that is Banshee coming out of his closet to hit him with her Ban Chair for hoaxing ATS on purpose.
