Although you have indeed chosen a fantastic looking avatar, I dragged these ones out that were posted here a few months ago - If you feel the need to have a change in scenery

I had a smaller version of the 4th avatar down and decided to use yours instead. It doesn't show up with the wolves and all the stars but it's still very cool, so thanks!!!!!!

Thanks also to our little purple birdie for trying to help me through U2U's. LOL

Someone made the suggestion that we make a thread to display our unused avatars all in one place so I made this thread for anyone who wants to post all their good stuff in one place:

Free to a good home; AVATAR CREATIONS spares, scraps and leftovers

Brilliant and most helpful idea! I found one, but as you can see I've not sized it correctly. Can you help?

Well all is not lost, I think. Fwiw, Weston's in Canada is still producing them under the name of DingDong. Same recipe. Maybe you can order some online?

well...how about instead i work on one that is full sized, but not animated?
At least then we would know it was of a decent quality.

And if someone can make it better and animated, that would still be the first option.

Thanks everone for all your help and patience. As my contribution, here's a pic someone can play around with for our friends across the pond.

First off,

I want to say thank you to "Teh Chitlen" for putting this thread together. BRILLIANT! as they say

Secondly, I appreciate and applaud the efforts and camraderie that are shown in this thread. Some wonderfull talent, and excellent cooperation going on here.

I "borrowed" a couple of the space based backgrounds ( as you can see no doubt
) and thank you for those.

I used to, many moons ago, paint avatars. This thread has encouraged me to start stocking up on backgrounds again and dust off my copy of Paintshop Pro
So I might be throwing my hat in the ring for helping as well. Its been awhile, and I will be rusty, but I am sure I will knock the big flakes of rust off pretty quickly
But like many have said, it is a great way to "get away" and let the creative side flow.

Thanks again!

Danno

back to my "weekend home".... aka my permanent address as opposed to the tiny little place I rent during the week for work

The cat is happy to see me and is physically attached to my arm. I can't even go to the bathroom without her

She much prefers "house cat" to "barn cat"

I know i'm just a lowly member but I was wondering if I could perhaps get a dystopian city type avatar.

Something futuristic and challenging to the maker, but also something that describes how I feel.

Perfect Dark/Fifth Element style.

that

or

a futuristic ninja type character. maybe with a silenced mp5 and a sword on the back or something

if that can be done. if not it's all good

i'd like to see what you make regardless of what i've recommended.
