US: Russia sending Syria attack helicopters

WASHINGTON (AP) - The Obama administration said Tuesday that Russia is sending attack helicopters to Syrian President Bashar Assad's regime and warned that the Arab country's 15-month conflict could become even deadlier.

Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton said the U.S. was "concerned about the latest information we have that there are attack helicopters on the way from Russia to Syria."

So the stakes are heating up Russia now the merchant of death to the Syrian people, but is not the only one who is supplying arms to Assad.

Then we have the Arab states aiding the "rebels".

A month ago Russia was caught with shipping arms to Syria and now they are supplying a whole new level of death from above.

Neo, you of all people! Are you really believing the MSM on their reports that the rebels are there to help the country?

Especially after we destroyed Libya, and Egypt? They both seem worse now than before we went in.

I have to shamefully say, that I am glad Russia is calling our bluff and giving Hillary and Obama a few things to think about before they send more of our troops (in the name of the globalist banks) into another country to accomplish what??? More deaths, more false American Patriotism.............

The problem is that some countries have too much vetted interest in the middle east, each for their own reasons, which grossly exaggerate the civil wars. If we had actual democracy in the middle east all those countries would have been stable by now and very few people would have been killed.

The religious right has been fighting ITSELF there for decades. Fanatic jews hating on secular jews and fanatic muslims hating on secular muslims. Those people, with the exception of israel(which is very low grade democracy), never really got to vote whom they want. The women of each nation cannot even walk outside without being covered-up from head to toes. Some cannot drive cars, there is job discrimination, sexual abuse, pyschological abuse, etc.

It is high time they modernise and adapt secularism.

Then we need to END the security council dictatorship of the United Nations. The general assembly with any majority should decide agendas and follow through. Countries that spend too much on military should find more constructive alernatives for growing their gdp, especially russia/china/usa. I think we all know what should be done but rich&powerful people keep getting in the way of progress and they could not care less how many people get killed or the quality of life in most countries.

Oh dear, the 'rebels' will get crushed and hostility will end if these helicopters get delivered... we better send in NATO fast to drop depleted uranium on everyone and save them.

There is nothing saying the US is going to get involved in Syria most of the rhetoric is just blind hysteria.

"We are seeing the Syrian government using helicopters to fire on their own people from the air.

This is a statement by the spokeswoman for the State Department, where it is worded to lead people to imagine this is already going on, plus it leaves out that it is actually foriegners who are supporting the rebels.

What do you think is happening? Why?

I saw some pictures of people that were supposedly killed by Syrian army munitions.. but the people had their throats slit and etc. I don't think, as Americans, we really get the truth about what is happening in any of these arab countries.

I think the US and other western nations are heavily invested for whatever reasons.

Sounds like Assad propaganda to me…if people were killed they were Assad loyalists.
