It appears that everyone was wrong about TACOM Life Cycle Management Command's decision to ban all polymer mags. Although TACOM made it very clear they wanted their soldiers to use then new enhanced M4 magazine with the tan follower or the old ones with the green followers and nothing else, they appear to have changed their opinion to "use at your own risk". Fine by me. I was kind of hoping to see PMAGS go on sale because of the previous ban, I was going to refresh my supply, but that doesn't appear to be the case.

I have no idea why they would bad something that actually works. Having used standard issue mags I would HATE to have to use them in-country in a combat situation. Even brand new those mags are prone to issues. If you drop 'em too hard the weld tends to break. In the extreme heat the mags expand and it is harder to seat properly and eject as it become bigger than the mag well. I'm surprised they think it's a follower issue when the mag itself is the problem.
