Yeah,you are right. I did not see it at first, but when it is zoomed in, you can see the guy up there...Just barely though...Part of his arm or something...Keeps going in and out of view.

If you want to listen in on local radio coverage, you can find KRLD 1080 on iTunes radio stations list. They're about to go into CBS national news, then after that, more "crane guy" live coverage. They are calling him "crane guy."

Is the guy on the crane a sniper? If he is armed with a handgun, he is basically harmless up there. They have SO MANY options for getting a guy off a crane, LOL! The first thought that comes to my mind is 220 VAC and some jumper cables, LOL!

A sniper shot from a helicopter is not easy. Tear gas onto his platform, or buck shot, or just shake the crane.

It is also starting to get dark. Does the gunman have a night vision scope?

I say just surround the perimeter (a few cops on duty is a lot less expensive than SWAT and choppers ( and the TIME to remove the freakin door?)). Guy HAS to come down, eventually, unless...

really didn't pay that much attention, we had memorial day chow going.
