What makes you assume everyone in this thread who thinks this pamphlet raises some questions is GOP? You seem to be attempting to box in the topic. Everyone posting here must be a birther and a GOP member...Why do you bring up the president's race?

The author, Miriam Goderich has been proven to be a committed financial supporter of President Obama...there are many reasons to ask questions about this....

Miriam Goderich, completed a Masters Degree in English from Columbia University, and immediately when to work for Jane Dystel Literary Management. Six years later, she became a partner in the agency. In 2003, the agency was renamed to be Dystel and Goderich Literary Management.

Obviously, the literary agent was Jane Dystel. The original article says that she carried Obama over as a client when she started Jane Dystel Literary Management, after she left Acton & Dystel.

So, Miriam Goderich must have been the person responsible for making updates and changes after she joined Jane.

Well, my first US Passport listed me as "F" when I'm an "M" and my first and only blockbuster card made my last name first and first name last. Just the other day I quoted a local news source only to discover they apparently weren't.

Personally, I find our whole political system a bit convoluted and shady, and maybe there is something secret about Obama (and Bush and Clinton and Reagan and so forth). But, it could also be just another typo. I've read newspaper articles about my father that were written incorrectly. I, as the family member, know that what they said was misquoted, but the average reader will just think "huh" or "hmm" and keep reading. I could easily be empathetic and say, they heard his father was born in Kenya and accidentally put that he was instead. This sort of thing does happen. It's usually the whole purpose for the "errata" section in early books and the "retraction" in modern papers.

Wouldn't the easiest way to solve this question be to find out if and when his mother had even been to Kenya, seeing as how she met Obama's father in college in the US? And if she has been to Kenya, when?

EDIT: Wow, 80 pages??? Forget I even bothered, someone probably brought up everything I just said many many pages ago.
