Not at my house at the moment, but as soon as I get off work I'll submit a pic.

Specs:

Corsair Graphite 600-T Black Mid-ATX Case
OCZ ZX 850W PSU
msi 890FXA-GD70 AM3+ Mobo
AMD Phenom II X6 1090T Black Edition 3.2GHz 6-core CPU
XFX HD Radeon HD 5770 (Juniper XT) 1GB 128-bit GDDR5 x2
16GB Corsair Vengeance 2x8GB (I have another 2 8GB cards hanging around)
Razer Diamondback wired gaming mouse
Belkin Nostromo n52te Speed Pad
Some kind of cheapo logitech wireless keyboard

Nothing special but I need a new dual card upgrade and I'd like to pick up the AMD Bulldozer 8-core or an i7 Ivy Bridge, but it does for now.

I would have taken a picture, if my desktop wasn't filled with trash at the moment -.-

But I like your desktop

Just bought myself a new mouse (for diablo 3 ofcourse), a new headset and a new flatscreen.

Razer mice, Sennheiser headset and a Samsung SyncMaster 2233.
Thats what I need to geek Diablo 3 the next half year.

Umm, it runs windows.

and I think it has 4 rams of memory.

lol - someone I knew years ago actually flubbered that sort of thing when I asked.. rams of memory.

I'd post pictures of my measly rig, but I'd get arrested for cruelty to computers. She's a Frankenstein to be sure. Hard drives screwed in wonky due to not having the rubber spacers, sticky tape around the old video card to keep the cover on after putting it back together for the third time to renew thermal grease (and clean the fan) and realising ... Screws go in that part before this part, and sod it, where's the tape...

I'm sure I've not got my cpu HS/fan on as secure as it should be, 2 of the 4 cores are a little on the hotter side..

lol, how come in your second pic your PC has no video card... is that reallllyyy yours ??

haha, you noticed.

I built this rig, and a couple of weeks later i had to ship it across AUS. in transit, the video card got damaged, so I had to sent it sydney for warranty repair.. it took 3 weeks to get my video card back.
You'll notice the cabling is all schmick.. thats because I had 3 weeks to stare into my open, vacant case ... dreaming... and taking photos!

You have done a nice tidy job with all the wires/cables in your case, realy nice
I would get a better heatsink/cpu fan for that chip if you plan on overclocking it though, the stock ones that come with the cpu are useless.

uh... you say you have a 6970? Where is it, exactly? Certainly not plugged into one of those nice empty PCI-e slots

You also lose points for using a stock intel cooler on your CPU

yeah, but i cant be stuffed taking more photos now the cards back from warranty.
Your right about the CPU cooler it looks 'default' like..
but, something i dont understand right..

The CPU i have has never struggled with any game or process ive thrown at it.
There's no need to overclock, atleast not unless my aim was to squeeze 1 or 2 mhz out of a processor running at what, multiple THOUSANDs? Overcloking on my AMD2 or Pentium 2 450mhz yeah ok, it'll make quake run so many fps per second better.. but todays pc's?

overclockings an unessecary risk, but a liquid cooling system flowing water all over would look awesome, but its too much w@k factor!

Orite, a pic of the video card added
(pics or it didnt happen!)

Don't forget the 20 mb HD as well. (I see you do know old tech as well)

I really dunno much bout my puter, and funny thing, I built it.
It has an AMD dual core, 4 Gb ram, some nvidia video (not sure which)...250 Gb Hd....lol
But it does work all of the time and is older than christ.

I do however have a cool outdated G15 gaming board though.
No pics as I do not think any of it would be recognizable under the protective inch layer of dust!

Haha I would have gone insane having to wait 3 weeks. But then this PC is my tv/radio/movie/video setup, two monitors, one connected to onboard video for the hdtv usb stick and the HD5850 for everything else. It can go awry if something tries to set the resolution to lower than 1920x1080, throws my tv off centre.. but cheaper than buying a hdtv!!

Man, I'm the worst with cables. I cant stand them being in the way, but as soon as I see them cable tied or managed, I go nuts.. Was like when we had a contract cable company come in to where I worked, and offer to setup cable management in all of our racks, as long as they could take photos to sell their work to others.

As soon as they took the photos, all of us (the guys who had to trace cat cables to points all the time) ripped the velcro tabs off, and really annoyed management. lol

Man this thread has me thinking again.. someone recently posted how they could build a fairly decent setup for cheap, and in the process of comparing prices, I found it easily under $1000 if I keep my 750watt psu and case. And I really need to upgrade. And the price of SD drives has come down a lot since I last looked.

mobo/cpu ram and video is all I really need - time to start keeping my hand in my pockets I think and accumulate some funds!!!
