Islam brings people to Muhammad and Allah.... not Jesus.
Islam only represents Jesus in name and brief biography.
Islam does not propagate any of the teachings of Jesus found in canonical, gnostic, nor apocrypha texts.
Teaching of a name and biography while ignoring and rejecting Jesus' teachings is not bringing people closer to Jesus.
The understanding that I have of islam is they believe Yeshua/Jesus was a man, a prophet,no more than that.

That is well and good,but...Islam believes that their
prophet was greater than Yeshua/Jesus,he was not!
Yeshua/Jesus was G-d in flesh and one day, every
knee shall bow to Him.
The understanding that I have of islam is they believe
Yeshua/Jesus was a man, a prophet,no more than that.

Are you a Muslim, an Atheist, or a Satanist?
It's hard to tell, your posts are usually displaying qualities of one of the three,
Just wondering
Can I assume you are catholic. If not, why? Are catholics not christian?
Jesus is expected to return and slaughter the anti-christ along with the non-christians who follow the anti-christ??
Do Christians believe that Jesus returns and turn the other cheek to the anti-christ????
Jesus is inseperable from Islam. People who are "brought" to Allah , end up understanding that Jesus was the Messiah.
Name some of those teachings
(Love All and Everything are the greatest laws)
Gospel of Matthew
“Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?”
Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”
(Love your enemies and those who curse you... not execute them like in Islam)
Gospel of Luke
“But to you who are listening I say: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you. If someone slaps you on one cheek, turn to them the other also. If someone takes your coat, do not withhold your shirt from them. Give to everyone who asks you, and if anyone takes what belongs to you, do not demand it back. Do to others as you would have them do to you.
If you love those who love you, what credit is that to you? Even sinners love those who love them. And if you do good to those who are good to you, what credit is that to you? Even sinners do that. And if you lend to those from whom you expect repayment, what credit is that to you? Even sinners lend to sinners, expecting to be repaid in full. But love your enemies, do good to them, and lend to them without expecting to get anything back. Then your reward will be great, and you will be children of the Most High, because he is kind to the ungrateful and wicked. Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful.
(Kingdom of God is within)
Gospel of Thomas
"Jesus said to them, "When you make the two into one, and when you make the inner like the outer and the outer like the inner, and the upper like the lower, and when you make male and female into a single one, so that the male will not be male nor the female be female, when you make eyes in place of an eye, a hand in place of a hand, a foot in place of a foot, an image in place of an image, then you will enter [the kingdom]."
"...the Kingdom of God is inside of you, and it is outside of you. When you come to know yourselves, then you will become known, and you will realize that it is you who are the sons of the living Father. But if you will not know yourselves, you dwell in poverty, and it is you who are that poverty."

Your view of me is skewed though,
I come from an atheist background and nonreligious family,
Also, I've read literally thousands upon thousands of books,
Studied for many thousands of hours on the computer as well,
I am far, far from uneducated in this subject matter,
What you deem ignorance,
I deem wisdom,
1 Corinthians 1:25-31
King James Version (KJV)
25 Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men.
26 For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called:
27 But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;
28 And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are:
29 That no flesh should glory in his presence.
30 But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption:
31 That, according as it is written, He that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord.

I am both an EX Christian and EX Muslim. I have studied the Bible, the Qur'an and their subsequent religions and histories in depth.
Additionally, I know of the comparisons to Muhammad and Moses.
Misha'al ibn Abdullah, the writer, did a great job at comparing the two.
I do not care to classify religious leaders out of "respect" for the religion. I compare religious leaders according to deed and teachings.
Buddha and Jesus DID NOT teach or propagate violence or suffering.
Muhammad ibn Abdullah and Hebrew Patriarch Joshua ibn Nun were blood-thirsty, political warlords, and actively waged religious wars.
Muhammad IS NOT of the spiritually enlightened class of Jesus and Buddha.

Jesus taught non-violence.... live by the sword, die by the sword... love your enemies and bless those who curse you.
Yet, Jesus is expected to return and slaughter the anti-christ along with the non-christians who follow the anti-christ??
Do Christians believe that Jesus returns and turn the other cheek to the anti-christ????
It cant be BOTH...

Mohammad fought, Old Testament style, to establish monotheism that recognizes Jesus as Messiah.

All these break every single one of Christ's commandments, how then can you say muslim believe in Jesus? You do not even obey him! You believe in legalized rape, murder, theft, adultery, telling lies...the list goes on and on and not a one of these laws would he even be remotely for. In fact he would tell you that these are the laws of hypocrites.
