Toilet hangs over 15-storey lift shaft in luxury..Yikes !

I think this bathroom is kinda neat but i wouldnt want to own it with my luck the glass would shatter or there would be a earthquake..

For many people, the idea of dangling over a vast lift shaft is terrifying enough.
But for the owners of this incredible penthouse, it is something they will have to endure every time they sit on their toilet.
As these stunning pictures show, the bathroom of the new home is situated on top of an unused 15-storey elevator shaft.

When the owners carry out simple everyday tasks, such as using the toilet or brushing their teeth, they will be able to look down through the glass floor to the bottom of the shaft.

I was full on expecting to see someone dropping a 15 story deuce down a liftshaft.

That is one awesome floor. It's like something out of Indiana Jones...

That is my idea of a nightmare...even though it wouldn't break,
I would feel utterly disorientated...awful.
What a weird thing to do as well...surely if they wanted to show it off why not make it a feature of the from room? Build toilet elsewhere?

that would definitely take care of a constipation problem

But serious that's one awesome bathroom,

Knowing my luck I'd go for a pee in the middle of the night, look down, and see the girl from The Ring staring up at me... D:

I got that and shared just the bathroom pic a few days ago on FB,

The POO of DOOM! LOL I really want to poo in there, I know its weird but I really want to at least once and take self portraits while doing so!

I agree whoever build that glass floor over that shaft had a sense of humor i think..peace,sugarcookie1

Never mind Sadako Yamamura coming up the shaft, I still worry about her coming out of the telly!.
Nope, couldn't live with that. My fears of heights, untimely death and overactive imagination would probably lead me to have a heart attack even if I made it to the bog.

Thanks for posting..Yeah your like me my overactive imagination would send me into over drive on this bathroom when i saw the video i went this is so wrong on so many different levels..
I also have a fear of heights that would add to the whole problem..That bathroom would be a big NO for me..peace,sugarcookie1
