I'm sorry but I find the entire premise to be absurd. We know about the internal makeup of the moon via the various sensors that the Apollo missions
left there, which have picked up moonquakes. We've studied the rocks, we've looked at the extensive pictures that have been taken of almost every
scrap of the place and we know a great deal about our nearest neighbour in space. All the theories about the moon being hollow are deeply flawed and
entirely unscientific. Where did the magma for the Mares come from if the moon's hollow?
Conspiracies for the sake of conspiracies are ridiculous.

The OP merely stated a stream-of-consciousness stab in the dark at what might have happened. It's a fairy tale without any rationality or evidence to back it up. One of the two must be there - otherwise that's all you've got, a fairy tale.

And in their spare time they have studied and memorized every detail of the cocktails of falsehoods they have been prompted to obediently learn. While I cannot know if the MOON IS NOAH'S ARK for certain, this is definitely one of the more promising hypotheses to explain the various accounts in diverse religious scriptures and historical renditions of Mankind's earliest times. For it is at present one of the very few theories which takes into account several key scientific facts which are totally obliterated by competing theories:
What?
1. THE MOON IS HOLLOW which most scientists will agree is IMPOSSIBLE FOR A NATURAL SATELLITE.
2. Thus THE MOON IS AN ARTIFICIAL SATELLITE. This means that it was BUILT by living creatures and not created by natural planetary formation processes.

4. This indicates that THE MOON WAS PURPOSELY POSITIONED WITHOUT ROTATION in its current orbit around Earth.

This enables from time to time the MOON TO OCCULT THE SUN IN A LUNAR ECLIPSE and it also allows from time to time the SUN TO OCCULT THE MOON IN A SOLAR ECLIPSE. What purpose this serves is unexplained, but it is statistically far too unlikely to be merely a coincidence.
6. This indicates that THE MOON WAS PURPOSELY POSITIONED AT ITS CURRENT DISTANCE from Earth.
