It's just psychology and deductive logic, really.

Only an educated guess, not a solid conclusion or proof of the contrary.

Simple, Calculate the trajectory of the object and you can find its starting point. which is below the roof of the house in the forground.

This is a real object (what exactly is not known so a U.F.O) and someone was lucky enough to photograph it but the luckiest part was that it started out from right in front of them.

Did the OP upload the original iPhone pics to this thread yet. The EXIF data should tell us more.

First page and the OP includes the original photos taken on the iPhone 4S.
Third page, therein lies the EXIF data.

Well ya know the saying, "If it looks too good to be true, it probably is.", this thread could be yet another prime example of that. Impressive research by weavty1 and while it's not 100% conclusive that this has been a hoax, I'd like to see Ricky's response to these developments as I'm sure we all would. If there won't be any, we know where this thread may end up. He disappeared from the thread thus far - Maybe the MIB took 'em for a ride to an undisclosed location to have a lil talk?

A lingering question - Who would be crafty enough to put together a semi convincing UFO sighting hoax on ATS, yet naive enough to leave their GPS coords in their photo on the internet?

I too came to the same conclusion that the shadows do appear as you'd expect them to if the timestamp is local time. He seemed to be oriented northeast or so with the sun behind him and slightly off to the right... The objects seem to reflect this also.

What exactly are you using in PS to determine this? Also, how are you determining the effectiveness of your filters in reacting to an object which is potentially of unknown chemical composition?

Sorry, but it sounds like pure speculation, with a tinge of needless denouncement.

I work in Nashville as an electrician. I can tell knowing from where these pic were taken (the Belmont area) and the direction that he is facing (downtown) and the time of day (1:41pm) that the sunlight reflecting off of the object is shining from the right direction for that time of day. I personally believe that these are real. I usually have more than a lot of doubt as the world is full of hoaxes but I seriously think this is a real sighting. What they are doing (whether E.T. or Military) in Nashville beats me.

Finally, someone in the area as the OP comes forward.

Thank you.

Awww, I'm just glad you're little man is okay now. Hope he feels better.
Going to go look at your pictures now.

You have any pictures of your dog? I never heard of that breed before.

man, this is a really bad fake. not convincing at all.

It's obviously not an app - they don't have apps with a single object in those weird positions. Not shopped either imo. So it's an object, lighting seems to confirm that.

The location and angles of the object are a bit odd (i.e. suspicious). At such a low altitude, coming down at that angle seems.. strange. Not so strange if it was a thrown object. But still, not discounting this completely.

Don't count on her giving you her opinion on them.Clearly she's focused on the dog.The pics are an app. That's what it looks like to me.And I think it's been proven already that that's what they are.

I would say you would have to be a committed hoaxer to try to fake two pictures with a 1 second variance... I'm throwing my vote in that I believe you. That delay and angle would be difficult to pull with 1 second difference.
