Yes, I do have that app., and I do keep an eye on it. Also keep noaa's radar up and running.

My problem is in this type of weather, I lose my internet connection. That is why I like my SAME radio, gives me pretty good advance notice.

Plus, being this close to nature, I am out side alot and can see and feel what is going on.

Heck, living in my tent, I am outside all the time.

You guys are awesome, really. This is why I love our "little community". We have had some lightning and thunder here in Nashville, the worst is yet to come. I will be checking back soon to see how ya'll have fared through this fun January evening. To bad we aren't talking about snow instead.

No thanks to that one, I'm New Hampshire born and bred, I would rather have thunder storms any day of the week.

Thanks Kdog - in N Indiana it is forecast for thunderstorms, some extreme.
We are not in the tornado zone but one never knows when that can
change. I told my daughter earlier on the phone about the storms
heading her way in Ky. I can't believe the weather patterns this
winter. We just had a 2 days snow storm, 1 day of cold and now
warming with storms. Seems likes it been a consistant pattern
the past couple of months.

Stay safe out there everyone!

Some real nasty cells moving into Poplar Bluff, Searcy, and Jonesboro.

I would be ready to move or take cover.

Lonoke and Newport got big cells moving in.
