If I am not mistaken, there was news not long ago of a alleged breach at a Russian rocket facility. Maybe this is what they were referring to. It was one of a few issues that the Russian President was pissed about. It was stated that there security was too relaxed and that measures were being taken to step up measures.

Point taken. This is a wonderful "expose", regardless. Thank you for setting people straight.
And Mod for linking her blog and more photos.

Is it just me, or do the photos look like an abandoned powerstation?

Yeah it looks like a decommissioned power station we have here. Same equipment. Me thinks someone is pulling you leg...

Interesting in more ways than I wish to comment.

Language translators are faulty, tricky creatures.
With that in mind, the caption on her blog roughly reads:

The value ISO of illegal photographs is located in direct dependence from seriousness of the consequences of detention.

Joint stock company “[NPO] of the energys-Masha the name of academician [V].[P].[Glushko]” is the leading enterprise in the world
on the development of powerful liquid propellant rocket engines for the space carrier rockets,
one of the leaders of the world market for science-intensive and highly technological production.

That isn't an old abandon plant, Russia has no money and although certain parts of the plant may look decrepit it rather quite clean and modern, and so is the equipment, also the lights are on

Here's her Live Journal page:
Lana Sator Livejournal.com

It's not a facility run by the Russian military, but a contractor. It's not an 'old' or 'abandoned' site either, as lights are seen on in the photos. Maybe the state department should grant her asylum, LOL.

ETA: guess several others beat me to it with the link....

I'm pretty sure that is the area they test the blast from the rockets. I think I have seen tests in similar looking areas.
She is lucky one of those tunnels didn't lead her to a fiery death.

The Russians are very good at security , but what they are even more great at is corruption and money making .. and that is why a lot of classified stuff gets sneaked out of the country
Those guards probably help packing that uranium in cases

PS: Those are only a few pics from that facility in the OP , here is the complete list where You can clearly see it is operational

Rocket factory isn't the only place this girl has got into.

Go to the root address and you'll see where she's into exploring military facilities, old underground nuclear bomb shelters that still have electricity, and other such places.

Urban exploring would seem to be a popular Russian past-time with Russian photographers, as I personally know two other Russian photographers that are always looking for and exploring abandoned run-down places, buildings, and all the dark corners in urban areas.

Cool stuff.
