you seem to be basing the above statement upon many suppositions.
1. Jesus (as described in the Gospels) existed.
2. That he was benevolent
3. That you can estimate from the wide range of contradictory teachings he spat, that you know what he would or would not want.
4. That this whole religion called "christianity" is not completely pagan, or Judeo-Pagan in origin.
5. That Jesus himself is not an "idol"
6. that "pagan" symbols are a "handicap!"
How do know which are the true handicaps, pagan or Christian, seems to me that symbols in and of themselves are just conceptial vehicles and that such
vehicles can be used for either good or evil. Being this is the case, we must concede that the Christian symbols have proven more evil than any other
over history!
