I personally don't agree with all of Ron Paul's stances....but I think he is a good person....whom others... during all of his political career...have been plotting to discredit him...in other words....(they have set him up) to look bad.

He very well could , of course,

but addressing that "everyone was racist 20 years ago" and not "maybe he was, but has changed"

is not a credible arguement, or a least, does nothing for the people he may or may not have been racist towards.

I cant believe the spin, ron paul answered many of the questions and was even laughing heatily as he answered, and he didnt walk out, he allowed someone to help him remove his mike and even thanked the reporter at the end. And people are saying he walked out of the interview? The media once again spins out of control.

I am very very confused.
Something that has bothered me is the OBVIOUS racism that is mormonism.
I am a former mormon, raised in it.
How come everyone gave Romney a pass on this?
How come nobody asked him if Hemann Cain carried the mark of Cain?
Seriously, how did the media avoid that obvious jab?
That is the most simple question ever addressing his religious views and the racist church he is engaged in.

No, Dr. Paul is set up by a third party episode that was explained in detail a million times as a result of 1 or 2 people that used his name in a quiet time when Dr. Paul was out of political life and engaging in a private practice that occupied his time.

But a religion you adhere to and practice, well, how is this being avoided?
Does Hermann Cain have the "mark of Cain" Mr. Romney?

Now that to me is how you attack a racist is it not?

Im proud of the way dr. Paul has stayed true to character and did not get angry or violent but answered the questions in the same light hearted manner he always does. He did not storm out of the interview, more like made it apparent he was through with it. This man is a gentleman on all occasions, the media should be ashamed to insinuate he is racist.

His wife, other family members and some of his closest associates ran the Newsletter, it was not some backwoods publication that he allowed his name to be stuck on.

They made over a million dollars a year in profits from the Newsletters, it was run like a family business.

For you to believe he had no idea what the content of the Newsletters were,
1) Would require you to believe that Paul has such poor judgement of character as to mary a wife who tells him nothing so as to smear his name and
2) Paul's family members had such contempt for him that they never informed him of the hurtful content.
3) You would have to also believe that he handpicked his most distrusted enemies to be his closest associates who worked on his Newsletter as they never informed him of the content either.

So there you have it, for you to defend the man on this issue you would have to admit to one of the most horrendous examples of human judgement in history, and this man would be handpicking losers like this to be on his cabinet to ensure his failure.

Oh wait, you faithful devoted followers will never admit to your God's fatal flaws, but the rest of the country will.

I wasn't defending him actually, I was questioning how his name could be attached to a news letter yet he claims to know nothing about the contents.

I don't believe there is a post on the forum where I support Paul.

Glad to know I am not the only one who sees though the lies. No question Paul knew what was in his newsletters. Let’s not forget that Ron Paul is listed as the editor.

House and Senate Republicans over the wire sound like they are just looking for any way on the Moon to derail this guy.

The very last thing 70% of leading Republicans want is for Ron Paul's "shutdown of big government and overspending by broad cuts message" to take hold, and gain traction with young Voters.

I have never heard, nor read anything to substantiate these claims.
