Where does all this Aquarius means brotherhood come from? Aquarius is an individual sign, it is the sign of high intellect, revolution and science and it has not been stated that it "dawns" in 2012 on any date, it is a progression best estimated to be between the end of the last century and the beginning of the next, if there is in fact any credence to the age of Aquarius then it is already manifesting its self through the start of global revolution, religion and society will radically change and evidence of that is already started

coincidently Aquarius is the ruling sign of the USA, perhaps their empire will grow

The planets will most assuredly not be "aligned" on December 21, 2012. Below is a picture illustrating this. As for the date of the Age of Aquarius I would suggest starting with Nicholas Campion's book The Book of World Horoscopes. In it he looks at 91 different predictions for the Age of Aquarius. The 20th century comes in first with 29 predictions and the 24th century comes in second with 12. The 21st century only has seven predictions.

No straight line in 2000, not even close. Alignments are so "loose" it isn't even funny.

If I recall properly the planets appeared in a 26 degree arc of the sky, which means they were all on the same side of the Sun.

In case you missed it the world was destroyed and we are all dead.
