There's so many lies and distortion in there, it's quite crazy.
US fears Iran weeks from producing 20% enriched uranium

Iran already produce 20% uranium. In fact, they've been producing it for TWO YEARS now.

Source : Iran 'makes first batch of 20% enriched uranium'

Two years and still no nuke...

Islamic Republic's production of material that can be used to make nuclear weapons at underground facility may bolster calls for military or covert action, Obama administration officials say.

Exaggeration : ``production of material that can be used to make nuclear weapons``. Well guess what, it CAN be used for nuclear weapons, but it also can be used for power or in hospitals for different reasons. Which they CAN do.

Administration officials speaking on condition of anonymity because of the sensitivity of the issue say Iran’s actions may bolster calls for military or covert action

Yeah because covert operations have NOT been happening for the last two years right? Wrong.

2007 : Bush Authorizes New Covert Action Against Iran

Has been going on since then. All those military bases blowing up and people being assassinated? Not accidents or coincidences. And that is just AMERICAN covert ops...the Israelis are there too, that's for sure, it wasn't just STUXNET... Iran has been taking those attacks without fighting back.

Enriched uranium is used to fuel power plants and reactors

Which they can do under the NPT. (which Israel hasn't signed BTW)

and may be further processed into atomic weapons material.

Two years producing uranium at 20% and still no nuke...

It may also fuel pressure on the administration to impose measures approved by Congress to limit Iran’s oil exports.

Limit Iran's oil exports = blockade on Iran = act of war... and doing a blockade of Iran means blocking oil to China...which means declaring war on China. Yeah real good idea. NOT!

And of course now another analyst saying that might be Israel's ``red line`` (when in fact it's been going on for 2 years)

“Senior advisers to US President Barack Obama privately express concern that Israel might see Iran’s commencement of the Fordow facility” as a justification for a military strike, said Karim Sadjadpour, an Iran analyst at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace in Washington who has frequent discussions with the White House.

Time for some ridiculousness :

Sadjadpour said some White House officials are questioning whether Iran is trying to provoke an Israeli strike as a way to rally support and sympathy at home and abroad, and “repair internal political fractures, both among political elites and between society and the regime.”

Right. Iran has been attacked again and again in the last few months. They could have done that, yet they haven't. They aren't provoking anything. Israel and the US are doing everything they can so Iran strikes back... let's also mention the US sending drones over Iran...

Gholamreza Jalali, head of Iran’s civil defense organization, said Wednesday that Iran will move its uranium enrichment centers to locations that are safer from attack if necessary, according to the state-run Mehr news agency.

Yeah because covert ops have been blowing military bases and factories up in the last few weeks. And they can't fight back because they would be annihilated so they are doing the next best thing... hide their stuff.

Iran says it needs more 20 percent material for a medical reactor and has plans for more, a claim inspectors have challenged.

Inspectors...the US government has really learn from Iraq... *Note to self, next time, bribe UN inspectors*.

Iran’s accumulation of low-enriched uranium, its decision to enrich to nearly 20 percent “when there is no justification for it,”

Yes there are. Medical.

its hardening of sites

Because of US-Israeli covert ops inside Iran.

and other “activities related to possible weaponization”

Which all those activities can be linked to conventional weapons as well.

are factors that “affect the Israeli calculus and ours,” Ross, now a counselor at the Washington Institute for Near East Policy, said in an e-mail.

What affects your calculus is the world economy crashing down on you and you need to blame it all on Iran.... it can't be blamed on the poor little bankers and the government who engineered it all...

All this is total BS, but I wouldn't expect less from the JPost and the US government. They want their war.

I was going to reply to this blog in an intellectual manner, but in light of all the info out there, I feel like throwing up.
Global domination is impossible. The destruction of the planet is happening and the warmongers , the greedy, self-centered are so oblivious to the reality of what they are doing.
Iran is but an example as to this reality. Defending your borders and your brethren is a foremost but trying to subjugate people halfway around the world while your own are in such dire straits is not the way to go.
One cannot push your agenda of control in the guise of peace while showing in your actions, reflect the opposite.
Other countries are awakening to this. Claiming that everyone is a terrorist and out to get you because of the carnage being flogged on them with the reason of protecting your own is totally insane.
Logically, I think that allowing all to live their own lives and doing things to help others without guns would be an obvious answer to world peace!

Considering the source is the "Jerusalem Post", they may be writing from a biased viewpoint. They also fail to name a source other than "anonymous". Too many references to unnamed "Senior US officials privately express concern". "Privately express", as in, no record and no quotes and no names. This could be the Jerusalem Post's "appeal to authority" (argumentum ad verecundiam), constantly claiming this is coming from the highest power in the land when it's nothing more than wishful thinking by this paper. The same can be said about the Israel Times which constantly runs articles about how close Iran is to a nuclear bomb, claiming their knowledge comes from unnamed experts or anonymous US officials.
