Just an example of years of poor dental hygiene,plus if you've ever lived out in the desert your lips and skin become very dry so no doubt he licks his lips,plus maybe he was embarrassed to be there,why he was acting shy

Nothing reptillian about those teeth, just poor dental hygiene meaning the incisors have fallen out/been removed.

Got a few mates with similar bad teeth and they look like this.

My grandmother, bless her, finally got teeth after waiting for 6 months for the OCD dentist to make them. So my guess is that the guy needed some quick cash to pay for his. Pepaws got lots of guns and treasures hidden away.
