I thought some members may wish to watch Pres. Obama lay out his new plan to restore jobs in America.

Starts in a few minutes 7pm ET 4pm PT

This should be interesting on many levels.

Hmmmm, republicans appear to not like schools.

He has said "You should pass it RIGHT AWAY!" at least 4 times within the first 10 minutes...

Everything the pundits predicted he would say is coming true. Ex: He wants high speed rail.

Another thing he's said "Everything is paid for".

I will summarize the entire thing for those of you short on time.

OBAMA: "Uhh, uhh, uhh, jobs, uhh, yes we can, uhh, I need two more years, uhh, Republicans, uhh, healthcare."
REPORTER: "Would you like to add anything else, Mr. President?"
OBAMA: "That will be all."
*crowd goes wild, stereotypical black women tell their girlfriends how he gon' buy them chicken and pay they rents*
AUDIENCE: "BRILLIANT! Make him king of America!"

Fin.

Lots of fluff, not a lot of substance. What is actually in the bill?

That's exactly what I am hearing. I hear a lot of 'pass this and.....', but he hasn't explained HOW.

I really don't like the used car sales angle he is going with on this. Every time he says 'you need to pass this right away', I am pushed further away from whatever he is trying to sell.

There isn't enough alcohol in town to make me watch that. Especially potent since I haven't touched a single drop of any alcohol for like 6 years.
