Since when has the war in Iraq been about freedom? I don't recall any Iraqi's attempting to take any of my freedoms.

Sad though it is, I find myself agreening with pretty much everything you say. However - for me this is why Wikileaks is so important, because it has got this debate out into the open. There may be nothing Jo Public can do about it (Although I am not so sure I completely agree with that) but at least he now knows.

If stories like this can cause people to just stop and think for a moment, then that is effecct enough for now. It will be remebered. Who knows what effect it may have in the long run?

What does "freedom" have to do with any of this?

Who's freedom? Not ours; not theirs. War for a cause is bad enough, but war without reason is simply murder on a grand scale; not worth losing even a single life.
