Been browsing for a while. Newly registered.

Hi to all, I'm disaster48. Or if you'd like, you can call me by my given name; John. I've been poking around ATS for a few months and decided it was time to register.
I, like many of you, am interested in a good conspiracy theory to pass the time.
I can't say I believe most of what I've read here but some of it is believable and I'd much rather be here with like minded individuals than on some popular social site reading about someones crappy day or meaningless dribble.
My interest in subjects of an unpopular nature began many years ago simply by thinking that there has to be more than what we are taught or told and I like to do my own critical thinking and form my own opinions whilst listening to both sides of a story.
I'm a better listener than I am a talker so I like to lay low but like anyone else if a subject strikes a certain chord than you'll here from me.
I'm not here to bash members in any way shape or form. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions and beliefs and if I decide to disagree, it will be done with respect and without accusations and assumptions.
With that said, I hope to have a good experience here at ATS and by lurking I think I will enjoy it here.

My handle disaster48 is disaster because I just thought it sounded cool and not for any doom or gloom reason. The 48 is my favorite NASCAR drivers number, yep 5 time champ Jimmie Johnson.
I try to use good punctuation and am generally a good speller but I'm only human so be gentle if I mess up.

Personal Disclosure: Welcome! OL is sure a mod will be along soon to help out with an informative post etc. I also recommend utilizing the green chat voyuer function on the ATS tool bar to the bottom of most ATS webpages [aka the ribbon]! It will enable you to watch who and what is being posted in chat but unfortunately you wont be able to join or chat back until your post count reaches 200 posts or so.
