Silly pleasure...but it was either that or beer....so Sauerkraut it is!

I think we are a rare bunch that do like sauerkraut...never tried it with sour cream but it would be safe to say I will now!

I put on about 10 lbs. this summer and my wife swears it is because of the kraut...I keep telling her it is a low fat food....I don't think she has caught on it is the sausage yet....

Anyway...good to know I am not alone in the kraut eating world!

Sauerkraut is amazing! I haven't had much of it over the past few years because I'm vegetarian and used to eat it with my sausages.

As for saurkraut, it has to be good saurkraut, not from a bag. But some sour cream and caraway seeds. I want some now.

When I see a child shop lifting in a store...candy, sodas...sneaking up behind them, bending over and whispering in their ear...

"Jesus is watching you"....and walking away...

My guilty pleasure is buying all those cool super hero cartoon DVDs for my kids to watch and then watching them myself.

My wife used to buy it when I told her I was getting the DVDs for the kids but, I think she caught on a while ago...

1) Anything written by David Eddings
2) Chocolate Covered Almonds
3) Hell's Kitchen
4) Glazed Donuts (from a mom and pop's donut shop)
5) Taco Bell's Steak Chalupas
6) Any Godzilla movie
7) Natural Casing Beef Hot Dogs

9) Shrimp Roti
10) Puerto Rican Cuisine

When there is torrential rain and thunder and lightning outside,its a Sunday afternoon and the power has gone off.
Pools of water are growing in the yard and garden.
Its a total downpour.

And I am in my shed,all snug by the wood burner.
Comfy chair,cushions,cup of tea...
Dogs asleep on the rugs,
with the rain falling on the roof,I slowly drift off into dreams of the old ways.

The sound of the weather and dreaming dogs,and knowing I have 3 days holiday ahead...
What a great feeling that is-that is another one of my guilty pleasures.

But not my last.

I don't have any guilty pleasures but I do have pleasures that my wife wished I felt guilty about.

1 - ATS
2 - Onions and jalapenos. Lots and lots of jalapenos. On everything.
3 - Fasting.
4 - Beer and Scotch
5 - Going on a beer, Scotch, jalapeno, and onion fast.
6 - Gaming.
