Still, killing your child to protect her from a child molester is a piss poor excuse. She could've told her boyfriend Tony and moved away with him somewhere to keep Caylee away from her dad.

Let's not forget that Casey is smart. Killing her daughter to protect her from being molested I'll just never buy.

You would buy "killing her daughter to go party" though?
So, deep seeded emotional reaction issues leading to murdering your blood...no
but shallow kill someone verses get a babysitter...that makes sense?

anyhow, I am actually more curious about the mother frankly in regards to someone whom may actually have the blood on her hands...

Get Nancy out of your head and consider the motive.

Please don't resort to personal attacks. I don't even have cable, so I haven't been subjected to Nancy Grace.

I believe that she accidently killed her daughter with the chloroform. I believe that Timer55 was a code for 55 minutes before she had to chloroform her again. Like I said previously, I think she was very immature and her child got in the way of her fun. People have killed for less, but not many have killed in order to protect the victim from something else.

Then how did you watch the trial? If you (and Im being presumpstuouis here) got your info from the media or internet...than Im sorry to inform you....you received tainted information.

The fact you still use the chloroform as a murder weapon tells me Im correct.
The chloroform has been discredited and discounted repeatedly.

If you need me to spell out the facts of this case, I will...just let me know.

I disagree. The lies were not told during one interview but over the course of the day. The reason it was 4 different counts and not 1 was because she had time to 'pause and reflect' before going from one lie to the next. In terms of the comparison to a fist fight. The way I see it is if a fight broke out and a few punches were thrown then it would be one charge, but if the person walked out the room, did something else (paused and reflected) and then returned and threw a few more punches then you're looking at two counts.

Let's not forget the consequence of these lies and the fact that casey anthony was given the opportunity to admit it was an accident. All the effort and resources that were used to search for Caylee could have been used for someone else in need. casey anthony knew all along that Caylee was not missing, but dead.

While I do agree with the verdict (not saying she's innocent), I also agree with what you posted. Since there were 4 separate lies that led detectives to and other investigators on 4 separate different avenues then the right one...and wasted precious time, money and manpower...I think Judge Perry was correct in his decisions.

Hey, genius. Just because I don't have 326 channels doesn't mean I don't have any TV channels at all. I have local channels only and live about an hour from Orlando. The trial was on all the local channels and I happen to work at home. Watching the trial first hand wasn't a problem.

Well...its a good thing I made note of me being presumptuous (although i misspelled originally), genius.
That still doesnt explain why you are sticking to the use of chloroform, when it has been thoroughly discounted and discredited.
You might as well say Casey knocked the baby out with heroine...there is as much proof as that as there is chloroform.

Well I can understand why she'd be freed, after all if she's been held for a number of years anyway then she pretty much served her time while waiting on the trial to begin and end.

Unfortunately that's all we can really say about it, she deserves her freedom but I really hope that despite the prosecution screwing up their own case against her and the jury finding her innocent of the crime she was accused of, she's also watched intently by the law so that any slip up she has gets an instant spell in jail.

This is quite interesting.
In the detective notes on page two, it says that Casey stated she would give Caylee chloroform, but only in her bed.
www.wftv.com...

Why the heck was this not mentioned in the trial!?!?

I don't think chloroform was even involved honestly.
I think timer 55 was just a password.

My Theory

How about this?
She ( Casey) goes shopping or to visit her boyfriend and she leaves Caylee in the car with the air conditioner running. It was june/july so it's well above 100 degrees in Fla. is stupid and thinks it will be fine cuz the air is running, but she is inside too long the car runs out of gas (remember the car did run out of gas one day I think that is the day Caylee died, just a few minutes before Casey and her boyfriend went to get the gas can). It wouldn't take any time for a child to succumb to 107 degree temperature in a car. She has a heat stroke and dies. She tells her father who is an ex cop and he knows how this stuff goes down and tells her how she is doomed to go to jail for a looong time. He could scare her to death, his experience as a cop would have her believing everything he said (and it would be neglect so it is very likely she would go for a long time) so she freaks out and decided to ditch the body. She doesn't get rid of it right away because like a person standing next to a casket of a loved one at a funeral home, she doesn't want to let go. She keeps opening the trunk and looking at her daughter. Then the O factor and the eyes make Casey decide to close her mouth so its not gaping.

I'm just putting out a possible scenario here. This is why it wouldn't have made sense to convict her of murder. Remember she would be freaking out so all of her behavior would be to cover that something was wrong.

Probably because it never happened. Who's notes were those anyway? There is no indication that those words came out of Caseys mouth...could have been hearsay.

Also..remember the 84 chloroform searches the prosecution hung on to? The one that was mentioned over and over again the closing arguments? WHEN THEY ALREADY KNEW THEIR EVIDENCE WAS WRONG?
Well...read this then.
The real reason Ashton retired!
