I was watching this in bed last night wishing i was there. You can say what you like about big bands, but there's nothing like having a bit of a rave up

Freaking love me some breakbeat! Especially Florida breaks i.e. Dave London, R-Freah & Infiniti, Jackal & Hyde.

I had them at some point but it was through my soulful US house days so I was a bit anti progressive house at the time. Still, Sasha is an amazing DJ and his track Expander is one of my favorite prog house tracks. I like a lot of older prog house, just always found it a bit full on to dance to. Was always into the funkier side of things.

also love this track.

Big fan of Justin Martin, He's from San Francisco, but was picked up by Buzzin Fly records in the UK. It's the label my brother works and DJ's for. His first track Sad Piano is one of my favorites.

I also remember the track with the ' Carlito's Way' sample, I think it may have been a white label.

On the breaks front , I heard this last year which is pretty cool, great video too.
